@@Kill3r12341 It's not like the original was some kind of musical masterpiece, but I don't find one redeeming thing about this band's interpretation. I see an overly produced video with a crap band, whiny vocals, and lots of fancy equipment. There is a better video cover on YT with a guy and 1 keyboard. I get that OP and the other guys above are probably huge nut swingers and his cousin's brother probably totally knows the bass player... but there is not one thing about this cover that makes it in any way better than the original. That is all.
JakeL302 it just one guy's opinion verses another chill tf out dude. Everyone has their opinion about everything. Just because you think this cover is trash doesn't mean it actually is. Personally I prefer this cover bc I like this kinda rock/metal vibe.
Listened to Eamon the first time it ever came out, played it for an ex, that song has a special place for me, but this version...WOW! The anger, this is how it was meant to be played IMO
haha I gotta share this, i'm stoned af right now, this just came up on some autoplay cause I listened to the original. For once I am thankful for youtubes algorithm for bringing me this! I didn't even understand that it was a cover right away, just thought that it was some good shit, and then I realized haha :D never rocked out so hard out of nowhere before! I'm totally a new fan!
Been following these guys for quite some time... These guys are fucking sick!!! I love everything they put out! They never leave me disappointed. Keep it up Glass Tides!!!
You guys rock, I love this cover. While sitting at home doing HomeOffice I remembered this song, heard the original and thought - 'it would be great to have it in rock version'. And you guys delivered!
Up over 3 years and still only 128k views. I've added this into a few of my playlists and always comes as a bit of a pleasant surprise to friends when it comes on.
