Ear Cleaning Journey & Link Statue Unboxing 

Hi Baylee! Whilst I HATE to be that kind of person that comments telling people what to do... I highly, highly suggest you to to an ENT for your ear issues. After a heavy head cold and weeks of one ear feeling semi clogged, I also attempted to clean out my ear with warm salt water alone and I made it even worse! I couldn't get the right angle, the salt water wouldn't drain out and I ended up with an ear infection from all the messing around I did and it was not fun. I got told off by the ENT and he said I shouldn't have tried doing these things alone... I know you aren't a fan of going to the doctor and I am not either, but after that, I will never mess about with my ears alone!

Hi Baylee! I recently have been dealing with ear issues too, and it turned out to be fluid in my inner ear. It sounds the same as how you described, like, voice louder inside my head. It is being corrected by medicine because it's a minor inner ear infection due to pollen and other allergens swelling my eustachian tubes. So you may want to see a doctor for this one if you want it gone quicker, but they also told me ears can fix themselves, it just takes a long time.

o/ Someone working in healthcare here. regarding to the ear -> The ''white'' thing is a part of the inner ear, the hammer. Your ears ARE clean, so it isn't wax.😁 You also see hearloss (sometimes one sided) if you have or had a cold or when one of your sinus are clogged. IF that's the case a nosespray can help solve the issue.

As for the ear-camera part: the white dot in your ears on your eardrums is called the "lateral process" which is part of the "malleus" so part of the ossicular chain. the white shine on the eardrum is the light reflex from the camera ..it's a healthy looking eardrum and ear canal from what i can tell through this short video :) .. so perhaps you should get a hearing test to make sure the feeling of that one ear not hearing as well as the other ear isn't something serious. the q-tip-cleaning isn't recommended as you could push earwax deeper into the ear canal and closer to the ear drum, which can block the ear canal but also hurt when trying to remove the ear wax .. for the ear shower thing i would recommend a water temperature of 37.1°Celsius, it can prevent the dizzyness-feeling you got :) any other Audiologists and Hearingaid-Specialists in the comments? xD nice video :)

Go to the doctor. My mother had similar issues and it turned out to be a cholesteatoma. Not wanting to make you paranoid, it could very well be nothing. But there must be a reason for the hearing loss and it could get worse while waiting.

IF YOUR EARS SCRATCH PLEASE, SEE A DOCTOR GET EARDROPS - Que-tips are extremely dangerous, but even if you don't poke your eardrum out, you can damage the fine hairs in your ear, leading to a bigger chance of hearing loss when older or open wounds in the ear. My ears have been scratchy since i was 8, i HAD to use Que-tips because my ear produced so much earwax i couldn't hear if i didn't clean it out! My que-tips where a dark yellow, sometimes almost brown, they where sticky and they had this very distinct smell - found out i have had an ear infection since i was a child and scratching with the Que-tips aggravate the ear to over produce earwax at such a rate, my pillow had yellow spots from the liquid that spilled out. I got some eardrops against the infection and i don't have any itch anymore, and my ears have next to no earwax that can be seen. Please see a doctor - get the drops, stop using a Que-tip, the fine hairs in your ear will break and they cant just grow back.. As someone who has been to an ear doctor because i got a Que-tip's tip, stuck in there once, the water spooling have to be done by a professional and it has to be way stronger BUT softer then what that squeezy bottle can provide.. It felt like a thick even smooth stream of water not aggressively but still firmly spooled out the cotton - he also told me, that i should NEVER try to do it myself as i could get very hurt or the at home kits just doesn't to anything - best advice is to use the shower head to spool not directly in but angled and not at too high a pressure, if needed. - I'm sorry to be rude here, but your ear is always and have always been self cleaning, like so many other bodyparts if its not, something is wrong. Critical thinking is crucial when you do these things and watching people on tiktok, insta or other places, using cleaning products is not critical thinking, it click bait, just like people who "clean out their ear piercings" where it is super gross, it shouldn't be gross because it shouldn't collect dirt unless you don't shower. Before you buy any product, remind yourself, why? Where did i find it? Would a doctor or any specialist recommend doing this? If not, why? Can you ask a professional or look it up on the interwebs first? What is it supposed to treat and why? Question, especially medical advice you see online, and that is also cleaning body parts, detoxing, taking supplements or eating a certain diet. All of these should not be done lightly. Sorry for being a debbie downer, but i do really not approve of how beuty and health "tips" are being spread online when it can actually harm people or just be a waste of time and money, hope you get rid of the itchyness! Do try ask an ear specialist about having an infection and tell them you are itchy and you have tried everything.

Ear, nose and throat doctor told me my feeling of hearing loss in one ear is from inflammation and swelling in my Eustachian tube. They are seeing a lot of that in people. I took a mild steroid and I could hear better while on it but it reverted back soon as the steroids were out of my system. I was also having pain in my cheek sinus too. I tried Singular for my allergies it helped a little but made me very emotional so I went back to Zyrtec. Doctor told me that singular can cause depression to worsen. So it’s my new normal I guess. 😢 sorry I have no real answers to share but it may be your Eustachian tube too. They wanted to do an allergy test on me. I have not had it yet because of the cost.

Your ears are cleaning themselves! No need to go into the earcanal with anything. only clean the outer parts of the canal and outer ear. For everything else please see a specialist!

Tip, when my mom was getting her ears cleaned she had vertigo and heating the water fixed the problem, try warmer water…. Also you mentioned that you had ear drops, are they specifically made for drying out your ears? Because I have water drying ear drops that I HAVE to use after aquatic physical therapy, swimming or taking a shower or I’m dizzy into the fallowing day…. Please look into those if you don’t already have some because they work wonders for me!!

The hearing loss might not be a clog it could be water trapped behind the eardum which could be a inner ear infection, i just had a similar issue my self and wound up needing a tube in that ear

Hey Baylee! I'm so sorry you are dealing with ear issues. That sucks. I don't know if you suffer from migraine sometimes but, fullness feeling of the ear and it seemingly affecting your hearing can be a side effect. I had it happen to me once. I was so convinced there was a clog. I did similar things that you did to try to relieve it as well. I marched down to the doctor's office completely convinced they would look into my ear and be shocked at the enormous clog I had.....and turns out it was completely clear. XD It took a few weeks for it to completely go away. Hope you find some relief soon! I love watching all your vlogs and following along in your art journey. Thanks for taking us along with you.

Hi, the little white dot you see behind your eardrum is actually one of the little bones in your ear that help the vibrations of the eardrum get transported to the cochlea. There the signal is converted into a nerve impuls which then goes into your brain. I suggest going to the doctor and getting your hearing checked, because those ears are clean af :D

I had hearing loss and went to the ENT and had to get a tube put in which took less then 10 minutes and I can hear way better. The difference was crazy.

coconut oil is really good for unblocking ears. We bought a camera that links to your phone to see what is in there. Mine records! My daughter had some really bad build up so it was interesting seeing that come out. Allergies make my hearing bad. Feels like a clogged ear. The GP said the escutcheon tube (ear to throat) gets swollen with allergies. Antihistamines sort that out.

I got one of those little ear cameras.... weird but helpful. I do think a trip to the ENT would be best if you are having hearing issues though.

Take some mucinex or equivalent. When my sinuses act up due to allergies a nurse told me to take that to reduce build up. It really does work.

Def go to the doc and get an opinion. A few years ago I had a clogged feeling in my ear and it turned out to be from C1 and C2 of my spine being out of place and putting pressure on my ear. I went to an ent and they did a hearing test and recommended a ct scan first to rule out an acoustic neuroma

Go to one of those ear suction places that clean My ENT used the same thing. They work wonders. I tried olive oil gave me a ear infection.

I love our ear cleaner that has a camera on the end and you pull up the app so you can actually see what you are doing.

I also had that type of feeling in my ear. It happened after I did a NetiPot. Felt like my ear juat needed to pop. Went to the ENT. He found nothing. I determined after trial and error I needed to put cotton in my ear at night (we sleep with a fan on year round). It helped. It also is worse if I sleep on that ear more during the night if I don’t put cotton in it. It’s weird, but works

Hi! I wanted to mention something about the ear situation. I was in a car wreck like 11 yrs ago and the air bag deployed. Ever since when I get sick (usually the first of the year.) My ears feel like they're clogged and like I can't hear well either. I went to a clinic, not an ENT and said my ears were clear as well. But they said there might be fluid buildup behind my eardrums. They suggested I take an OTC mucus pill to help drain it. It did by the end of the week and I've done the same trick for 3yrs now. Maybe that could help before you book with an ENT. Love the video! ❤

I use an eaqul parts apple cider vinegar to water solution for my ears. Only thing that cleared up a two month long ear issue I had where it felt clugged. I dipped a piece of a cotton ball into the solution, squeeze it out so it dose not drip, and put the ball in my ear for 10 minutes. Took about a week for it to help. And I still use it for a few times a month as a preventive, in both ears.

the hearing thing can also be sinus inflammation. i have non allergy rhinitis that can effect my ears/cause popping and my ENT (ears nose throat doc) told me to just flush my sinus with saline spray and do the peroxide + water drops for my ears for a few days. i also got a perspiration nasal spray and my ears completely stopped popping after like a week.... so yea. it could be an ear issue but it could also be your sinuses.

I went to Urgent Care and they did what you tried doing with the skeet bottle. A lot came out of my left ear harder wax. The right ear came clean with softer wax. Urgent Care. Do you have them in Canada?

Yep I hadda go to the doctor for ear flushing . Afterwards my right ear was ringing so badly cause the suction thing WAS SO LOUD!!! 😮

i got a camera too cause i was paranoid about my ears being clogged and it was clear LMAO I use it every 2 months or so to clear out the wax that builds up, try and not use qtips for a few weeks and give it another shot! Be careful not to get to close to your eardrum too, mine warns me when im getting close so not sure if yours does the same! the little cameras are great though. I also use it on my scalp if Ive got a weird hair bothering me or checking if its irritated anywhere :)

My ears get clogged all the time ! You don’t have any problem it’s just a lot of wax in the ear that you need to just get out ! Once that happens you can hear better again ! I normally go to a doctor to clean out my ears . Because hearing is no joke to mess around with. Oh if you’re going to do the ear kit your self you need to use warm water !

I've used the smaller turntable for work, the only thing is that without the grip they will slowly start rotating off (which is creepy because we have gold hands on it!!) but for product videos it should be fine :)

I plugged up my ear with ear wax once from cleaning it out with qtips. I had to goto the doctor and have it flushed out. It will make you dizzy when the clog starts moving.

For ear cleaning, try hydrogen peroxide and isopropyl alcohol half and half mixture. Lay your head down on the table and fill in your affected ear canal. When it stops bubbling, you can turn your head over and the gunk will come out. The bubbling feels weird, but it works so well.

I think I would hate having water in my ear like that 😮 6 times is crazy??!

is that just water and nothing else? because i thought water and ear wax shouldnt mix because itll make the wax hard. growing up we used oily stuff like vaseline to clean on our ears to attract the wax. just putting it on a qtip and swab ears like normal and ears stay pristine.

My ex had really bad ear wax issues and the only thing that worked for him is Ear Candling. He would go to Naturopath but you can also do it at home. It worked wonders for him.

My son got gas in his ear when he was a teen and now has to have his ear cleaned by a ENT. Now he has the camera and does it his self

None of that ear stuff worked for me. When I get impacted I always have to go to urgent care to be removed

Your eardrum looks fine. No ear Wax. The white dot is one of your inner ear bones 😅 but I do recommend going to see an ENT to investigate why you have hearing loss.

I just use 20 ml syringe, fill it with warm water and nuke my ear leaning ear down over the sink. It's literally what a laryngologist did for me when I was in high school lol Though it doesn't happen often these days (like a couple of times a year) and I got good at using oils in my ears from time to time.

Hydrogen peroxide is the best. It will bubble and snap, crackle, pop. Lay on your side and have your hubby pour it in.

The doctor did this for my ex husband and it was disgusting. So you’ll probably see something; if there is something. The doctor’s set up looked like a simple set up similar to yours. I don’t know if is a better system or not.

I hope you figure out your ear issues, that sucks!

Get a cup of hot water and warm the ear drops by placing the little bottle in the cup of hot water, then apply the drops as directed, ear wax will loosen or melt with very warm solution. If the wax is impacted it will take many times to loosen it, it has built up over time and will not just come out with a couple of attempts. My true suggestion is go see your Doctor, so as to not damage your inner ear and ear drum.

Please go see a doctor about your ears. Don't risk your hearing by doing it at home. It's so dangerous. Also stop using Qtips it's making it worse

Go to a ENT Doctor stop listening to the internet when it comes to your hearing

I highly recommend not spraying water into your ear or removing earwax yourself

Honestly, just go to the dr! You're in Canada you have free health care. There are so many ways to mess up your hearing doing it yourself. Dr are trained professionals people on the internet are not.

If you know that using q tips daily isn't good for your ears... why keep using them? We all know not to put them in our ears nowadays
