For anyone who is considering ear piercings.... Pls keep certain things in mind.... Cartilage or helix piercings take around 6 months to one year to heal completely.... In between that it can get infected anytime.... Even after that u can get a keloid..... And its always better to get needle piercing for cartilage..... Pls dont go for gun.... Gun piercing shreds cartilage and has more chances of infection or perichondritis..... Upper half of ear is made of cartilage and lower half is just flesh.... U cn go for lower half piercings which would heal much faster....
