I use this microscope professionally in Tenerife. And I didn't know there was this model that includes the mirror and the zoom and brightness corrector directly on the wire. I use it connected to a laptop placed in front of the patient. I advise you to also use a USB extension cable because the microscope cable is quite stiff and short. Over time it will damage the USB connector socket. It allows capturing interesting images or even 10 sec videorecording. However, it does not have a microphone. I advise you to turn it on only when you use it, because if you leave it on and unused for a few minutes, on the table, and then insert it into someone's ear canal, it creates a tingling sensation. To understand what I'm talking about, try it on yourself and you'll see. The transparent silicone cover has only a protective role. Mandatory, the part that comes into contact with the ear must be disinfected with 96% alcohol before and after each use. Even if it is the inspection from one ear to the other of the same person, it must be disinfected. I advise you to see it more as a medical device and not as a toy. Improper use of the tools applied to the tip of the microscope can irreversibly damage the eardrum if they are used improperly.
I had bought the cheap model on wish $6 bucks with shipping. I couldn't get it to work. I watched your video and saw how the USB plug opened up. Mine worked the same way. Plugged it in. Works great.. I'm using it on 50cc scooter engines and quick side cover inspections. A lot easier than removing all the bolts to check the clutch and belt drive. Thank you.
Good video. The small clear cover you thought may be a magnifier, is not. It is simply just a cover to protect the camera. That is its only function. But an important function
Thank you! Your video info is so helpful. Ive had this earscope bought from China for over a year and it has not been working because there was no proper instructions given. So I figured mine was a faulty item the whole time. Until I found out from yours that we needed another converter plug all along to get the camera working
If you want to use with pc, no software needed if you have windows office one note. Just open it and then select INSERT command and under this open the video camera or take a photo. My cam came with a website to visit for the app but it was a dead link so i tried windows office and it worked!
You should have tried the plastic and metal scoopers to tell us how the product works, also the plastic cap is just a camera protector when you store it.
NOT unless you have a micro USB to Lightning adapter. Apparently there aren't enough iPhone users in the world to accommodate them with a supplied adapter.
Thank you. I've had this for months without being able to get it to work. Lucky I still had the Samsung adaptor and knew where to find it. I even tried putting their app on a prepaid but that didn't work. Used the app in the store you identified with the adaptor and all good now.
I just got this and I'm really wondering if this is a safe option. That plastic that you hooked up in front of the scope, make sure to push it down all the way. You can't just leave it on the top edge near the camera. Also, that plastic piece is hard and worried what if we hit the ear drum with that thing? Mehh kinda scared to use it. I tried once and tried to catch the filth, was unsuccessful because the plastic thing comes in the way of the camera. Don't know if I should be sticking such things in the ear ..
Your right that it is dangerous. But, if used correctly, it CAN be okay. you just HAVE to make sure you don't hit the eardrum, AT ALL. The camera does help you to not hit it, but it's best to not get too close. It's better than a qtip though, since you can see what your doing.
I tried 3 different phones before I got it to work. Huawei Moto7 and then a Samsung, and if the 45-degree mirror doesn't work it probably has a plastic protective film that must be removed
I have an IPhone and it doesn’t look like it works on it. I got mine from Facebook and it looks much cheaper than your version. It came in a crushed box in side a flimsy envelope.
If you're not a Medical Doctor, I would not put anything in my ear. Rule of Thumb, we do not put anything in our ears bigger than our elbow. You could rupture your ear drum and require intensive surgery. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GADGET for any ear inspection.
On the Mac, use Photo Booth, just choose 'Camera' from the menu bar, then select 'USB 2.0 PC CAMERA' (default') and prepare to be disgusted by your gross ear! :)
Bro that’s not your eardrum!! You should probably go to the doctor and get that removed by the pros if u got insurance it’s free and if not what’s $50 at most to hear clearly? I had mine done but b4 i did it always felt like one side was clogged with water, now it’s so clear I can hear damn whispers
The issue Im having is everything is in reverse. The view is backwards. Im using PhotoBooth on a MacBook pro. Does anyone know how to set it in real view, not reverse view? TIA
@@jessicat3762 already tried all these options, I know Apple products and how they work. Can you tell me if you can see the camera on yours in reverse, or is it showing normal view?
it took about a month for me to receive mine!!! I was about to call them today and when I checked the mail it was there, finally. I'm just now about to use it for the first time.
