As Golden Earing guitarist George Kooymans suffers the ALS disease, the band decided to quit in February 2021. Without a farewell concert
This nights concert is a farewell by the fans to the Golden Earing. Therefor 1000 musicians played together 4 Earing songs. The idea came from te Italian Rockin’ 1000 project with the ‘Learn to Fly’ song of the Foo Fighters (2015).
The benefits of this concert will be donated to the ALS-Foundation for more research on ALS. You can donate as well by the website www.als.nl or to the ALS foundation in your country.
