I've done this a lot. I've gotten anywhere from 1 to 7 jewels per run... but usually on the lower end. Take the ghillie mantle along, as Barioth shows up sometimes.
Niiice...just bought MHW/Iceborne also yesterday defeated xenojiva without the defender sets, triying to grind my HR gear & found out it would be better to just jump into Iceborne cz the gear r sooooo much better than HR, I'll we waiting for the beginner sets
For anyone that wants to farm decorations early in HR without grinding to HR50 or starting MR, Triple Threat Showdown event quest is decent for some decorations too.

Good to see you back again! now i remember your old video about Tigrex pump shotgun video. I think it's a really well-designed weapon tree for progression. I use normal3 and sticky3 a lot when my monster knowledge is rubbish, then making transition to spread3 during end game. I'm into 500hrs mark, I have 1 pierce jewels, 9 artillery jewels, 5 spread jewels and 3 normal shot jewels. rngesus certainly guides my gearing path XD Happy Hunting!
Bro i wish this video existed a few years ago, and that's from someone who was playing world/icebonre at midnight on their release dates - if anyones coming to this video with a built up IB character i highly recommend greatest jagras event quest if it's in rotation
