This was great, the best one out there. Thank you so much for publishing this. It gave me exactly what I needed to replace my power supply. GREAT JOB!!!
Hey did your diagnostic lights have all 3 on like it was no problem with the power supply? Also before the fix did you ever hear a chime upon start up?
You all prolly dont care but does anybody know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the login password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Dakota Kamryn thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great video, I have the same early 2009 iMac, it shuts off randomly, most of time it's when I go on the web. I have two thoughts, could be the GPU (Nivida GeForce GT 130) The second was the power supply, it gets very very hot, if you're looking at the screen and place you left hand at the top left of the unit, and the back behind the left side of the screen, it's really hot near the top. It looks like that's where the power is. I wonder if it's just the supply and not the video card. Any thoughts, did you have shut down issues?
If anybody can help.. i have early 2009 imac and i decide to keep it running again after a long time. Am trying to install any OS and in the end at the setup It’s shutting down. I tried every possible OS is compatible and i face the same problem. ( i changed the disk, i clean it, i install new thermal paste) any suggestions? Thanks.
