I grew up 100 miles north of the Twin Cities, so I was defying the laws of physics to bring in the Twin Cities tv stations with a 120 mile range Winegaurd antenna. Technically, signals are supposed to carry only 75 miles from the transmitter. It really depended on the weather on how good the reception was from day to day.
