Early Amtrak Vol 13 Dec 1999 - June 2003 

I recorded railroad video for about 15 years starting in 1988. After looking over this old video material I decided to make up a series of RU-vid videos showing Amtrak's middle age years. This is number 13 (the last one in the Amtrak series). The video quality is only fair but it does provide an interesting backward look at Amtrak in the decade of the 1990's which was originally ruled by the F40 and still made use of an eclectic mixed bag of both new and hand me down passenger equipment. By this date however the original passenger hand me downs and F40s are ,mostly gone. This video has mainly examples of Genesis units which have nearly completely supplanted the long used and well worn F40s.
