A warning is more severe. A warning is one that has been sighted. A watch is when the conditions are favorable for a tornado. If you have a basement, go there. Or go to a room with no windows. I live in Illinois. We get a lot of warnings. Be cautious, but try not to stress too much. 💜💕🙏

I understand! Tornados scare me too! If your home doesn't have a storm shelter, you can have one put in your garage floor! If nothing else, it's peace of mind!

Go to the most interior room of your house! Read up on it since you live in an area known for tornadoes. It can be scary. Hope you are feeling better today. Your babes are so precious! Can't wait to see Grayson!

I've only taken shelter three times in the 12 years since moving from Cali. Twice from hail and once from tornado. We go into the closet under the stairs. I try to keep it pretty empty because no time to throw stuff out when a tornado is coming. Also if you buy a storm shelter and bolt it to your foundation it can void the warranty so double check if you go that route.

I feel ya about the tornado watch. I live about 3 hrs from you. In Abilene, TX. Our go to location is the most inner coat closet which pretty much stay empty just incase. And we also have to worry about snakes over here. Rattlers...yikes. We have only been here since November 2018...my girls got to experience there first major snow as well.

I’ve been having the saaame symptoms since 32 weeks. I’m now 34 weeks and last night I just had to use my belly band I purchased from amazon because baby boy just felt soo heavy. It’s difficult to even lie in bed because switching sides is just so painful lol, the beauty of pregnancy. But this morning I felt SO much better. I’m so excited to see Grayson’s nursery reveal! We’re almost done with our baby Noah’s and I’m anxious to have everything complete in case I go into labor sooner.

I love your videos! I’m also currently pregnant with a baby boy due in early October. I have always been told that a tornado watch is when the weather conditions are in favor of a tornado and a tornado warning means a funnel cloud/rotation or a tornado have been spotted. Hope this helps you when dealing with a future storm! Growing up in the south, our tornado plan was to always go to our interior bathroom and pile in the bathtub and cover it with a mattress 😂

The counties in our wonderful state of Texas are very large too. It could be for your county bit could be miles away from you. Just watch news and radar and when they tell you to take cover go to an interior room of bottom floor. Welcome to Texas! Cant wait to see baby Grey!!

I’m 33 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and my daughter is 17 months so I’m constantly on the go as well. I’ve been feeling lots of pressure and pain too! Also totally relate to being EXTRA thirsty lately & literally going to the bathroom every 10 mins it feels like😩 Totally relate to this whole video!

I used to live in Missouri, always had tornado warnings. I was always told that If you live in a house without a basement, try to go in the room most centered in your house, without windows. Stay safe!

So I’m from San Clemente too and just moved to Maryland last May, and we get thunder storms and the occasional tornado warnings/watch also and I swear I was in your same position last year. Super pregnant freaking out, not sleeping during the storms, BUT this year I’m like bring it on⛈💨🌪😈 it’s so fun lol

I’m from Texas & I can honestly say most of the tornados don’t ever end up doing too much damage, thankfully. But I did see that one touched down in college station this last time!

I live in Texas. Warning means a tornado has been shown or spotted on radar. Watch is conditions could produce a tornado. It happens often in texas.

I had restless leg syndrome with my last 2 pregnancies, my OB recommended taking iron. It definitely helped! Maybe ask your OB if it's ok for you to take it. I hope you get some much needed rest and feel better soon 💕

I love seeing people’s reactions to tornado warnings and watches.😂 It definitely can be scary for someone who isn’t used to it! Growing up in tornado alley you sort of just say “huh” and go about your day. We actually had one yesterday that I had no idea about and just continued studying in my school’s library.😂

A tornado warning IS SERIOUS! And if I'm correct, you are not far from where one touched down yesterday in Denton. Never underestimate the weather; especially in Texas. When there's a warning for a tornado, flooding, hail, etc, always take it seriously. Find shelter and be prepared. Born and raised in South Texas, I've lived through several floods and recently lived through hurricane Harvey. We were out of electricity for 2 weeks, water for a week. Our house took damage, but not nearly as bad as many others in our city. So many were displaced and lost everything. Never, ever, joke and laugh about it because you will be those people that will end up on the news. 🙄

We experience the Tornado warning/watch in central Texas. I was worried too since I’ve never experienced that before. I think the main thing is you have a plan and a place to “shelter in place”.

The tornado conversation with your husband is exactly how the conversations with mine go😂 we’re stationed in Louisiana right now and the first time we had a tornado warning I was in the bathroom in a ball and my husband just laughed from the living room.

All I can say about the tornados is welcome to the Midwest! Tornado warnings and watches are just a part of our life and in most cases aren't to be afraid of. The severity of the situation depends on what the sirens are going off for and how many times they go off. My family is from Indiana and we don't go down into our basement until the sirens have gone off 4 times. I'm glad you all are safe! 😘♥️🙏

Girl I had that shock too once. I’m from Oceanside and I moved the Arkansas. We had tornado sirens go off within a week of us living there! I understand why and how scared you can be. Just watch the weather channel and relax.

Spring severe weather is not fun here in Texas! Try the weather call service from wfaa. It’s not expensive, and they will call you if a tornado is expected close to your house. Their service helps me sleep at night when there is bad weather.

I am also 32 weeks!! I have been craving ice also and having periods of bad fatigue:( just gotta listen to our bodies! My contractions have been feeling intense as well but as far as I've read it's just my bodies way of getting ready for labor my 8th baby and I've NEVER gone more than a week early. Getting excited still!!

Tara - PLEASE READ THIS I live in Lee County Alabama. On March 3 a tornado hit our county and 23 people lost their lives. Many people were left homeless. We were in a bathroom with a mattress on top of us, wearing our bicycle helmets. Fortunately, my family and I were spared. You and Adam need to learn the difference in a Tornado Watch and Tornado Warning. A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable, but a tornado has not been spotted. A Tornado WARNING means that a tornado has been spotted and you need to take shelter. You need to move to the innermost room on the lowest level of your home. You guys can lay on your bed and make fun of a tornado warning if you want to, but you had 2 precious daughters upstairs, which is the LAST place they should’ve been during a tornado warning. Please educate yourselves.

Melanie G. um I don’t think she was making fun of it and I’m sure if it was absolutely necessary for them to get in a room and hide she would know-there’s weather alerts on your phone for a reason. I live in Florida and we get quite a few tornadoes but hardly any of them are ever actually serious, I’ve only had to hide once in my 20 years of living here. Most tornadoes don’t do that much damage

kristi pomerantz Thank you. All I could think about while I wrote it was the 23 people (4 of the 23 were children) that died in our tornado 2 months ago. You never know if the tornado will do damage. Adam saying “there’s nothing you can do” really ticked me off. I’m sure if they had watched the local news they would’ve known what to do in the event of a tornado warning.

I live in Joplin and there was a really bad Ef5 tornado in 2011. So many people thought a warning was not as bad, but it’s worse and a lot of people died. A lot of people were saved by going in a bathtub or a shelter! Tornado season has definitely arrived!😬😬

It’s so funny that your afraid of the tornado warnings/watches when I was in Oregon (from Ohio) there was a wild fire and I was freaking out! But anytime I hear a tornado warning I go look outside. I absolutely love storms!

Lol I’m from Mississippi and normally whenever we have tornado warnings or watches nothing ever happens, but when you start hearing the sirens that means there’s one that’s been sighted close to your area and you need to seek immediate shelter. Not sure if they have sirens to warn you in Texas, but that’s just what they do where I’m from. 😊

I keep Lysol wipes next to my keekaroo and wipe the pad with those followed by normal wipes after any accidents on the pad. It’s so easy!! Love that pad. But it does feel cold so I keep a blanket on the “head” side

I live in tornado alley (Oklahoma) and have my whole life but I still get annoyed when people act like tornados are no big deal. Yes we get tons of warnings but people have also died or lost their homes so it is something worth taking seriously and at least having a plan for. I have a kit ready to go for us and when there’s a tornado watch I get the bike helmets and boots ready just in case. We’ve only had to actually take shelter once and everything turned out ok for us thankfully

Grew up in Texas all my life. Wasn’t as stressed about the weather even though the weather changed all the time. Moved to Oklahoma with my husband. Since tornadoes happen here more than Texas, I always stress about it. I hate tornado season up here. Luckily no tornadoes hit my town yesterday. Think there were two east of us though.

Yeah a tornado kit is definitely something I would have gotten a long time ago. I lived in Oklahoma for a year and as someone from so-cal (same area as you are from actually) it was such a shock the first time I experienced a real storm like that. Absolutely get a kit. Research the best places to be. And I'd even go so far as to say next time have the girls sleep in your room. Tornadoes happen sooo fast and being upstairs is the worst place to be.

I’m from Utah and we don’t get tornados. But my husband is military so now we are in Georgia and we’ve had 2 tornado warnings in the last like month and half!! And one was a huge tornado that was like 10 miles from us. So now for warnings I drag everyone in the bathroom to camp out. Haha I don’t mess around!

Being from Nebraska, and becoming used to tornados, a warning is a sighting of a tornado, and a watch is just a possibility of it happening. I'm pretty chill when it's a watch and a warning, if you do go into a warning go into an interior room without windows and hunker down. I go to school in Alabama and when we get into watches everyone loses their minds and it is not bad in a watch.

Watch is watching for one. Co editions are favorable. Warning means tornado sighted or on the ground

If you ever hear the sirens go off that means that the tornado is near where you live and you need to take shelter immediately , like go into a tight place like a closet with no windows and just put something over your head! Tornadoes are no joke and people can lose their homes. I live in Mississippi and a town close to me got hit by one and a lot of homes were damaged or completely gone. Some tornadoes don’t do that much damage, but you never know!

I live in Kansas. You should have read more into it. Warning is a tornado on the ground. Watching is the conditions are favorable to produce one. Prayers for your family!!

Yeah I’ve lived in Dallas area, near Frisco, for more than 10 yrs, a watch is that the storm can produce a tornado because the situation is right for one to appear but a warning is one has been sighted and you need to take cover. A warning IS the more serious one, a watch is you just need to turn on the news and be prepared in case one does show. But welcome to Texas. Lol spring here is exactly how it was last night. Summers are better, less storms but waaaaay more heat.

Hey I'm just catching up on your videos but I'm from Minnesota and we had these all of the time. If you don't have a basement I would suggest having flashlights and snacks ready, plus boardgames to play with the kids. We used to have a basement so we just had a movie night when there was a tornado. We always understood that it was a serious situation, but our parents made it fun so it wasn't traumatizing. :)

Haaaa! Iowa girl here...that is DEFINITELY the first time I have ever heard of a tornado helmet 🤣. Our "plan" was always to run out and see if we could catch a glimpse...lol.

So a general rule of thumb is 4 of more contractions in an hour may warrant getting checked out to make sure you are not having cervical changes. This is coming from a mama who had s preterm baby and now again this pregnancy having irritable uterus and cervical shortening. Always better safe than sorry. Another good trick to see if they will let up on their own is to lay on your left side and drink some ice cold water. It is good that you are listening to your body. I didn't listen enough last pregnancy and the activity is what sent me into preterm labour.

I've lived in Texas my entire life and any kind of tornado watch etc. My parents have always taken us to the bathroom and a mattress have is get in the tub and put the mattress on top of us. If you have glass doors take them off so you don't get hurt by them. But a closet works too since there are no windows in a closet

I have Awful RLS!! Try wrapping a heating pad around your leg when you go to sleep! It will ease the sensation to move!
