Binding early decision was the best choice I ever made. My father was in academia, and he insisted on it. I had one string front runner. It definitely helped to go early decision. No, I did not enter in some free agent trade. Yet, I got in a better school because of early decision. Those application fees can add up, too. Look at the acceptance rates and early decision is the best way to go. Good luck with early decision!

my situation is that my twins want to go to the same school but if it takes them both. ed/ed2 makes this tricky for them
