Omg! ♥️Claude♥️ You may be too young to remember this but his pose really reminded me of the centerfold of Burt Reynolds in ..Cosmo...I think. Burt had his hand over his outdoor plumbing as well and I think Claude has less hair, lol! I havent thought of that picture for years but immediately thought of it when I saw Claude. Well, after I stopped laughing at how cute he looks

Those first black pants are to die for. Loved all of these. I am making Style Arc Porter woven top out of a lovely linen. It’s boxy and cropped. I found some great antique buttons I’m using with it.

I made similar long pants recently using Tina Givens Quattro pants and adjusting the bottom piece of the Elope pant to be wider and bring in the bottom of the leg. I added length and a curve to the bottom of the Quattro to match them together. I like the result.

Great to see you and Claude back!! Fabulous inspiration as always. Scratching my head as to names of patterns for some of the looks which is frustrating as I know some of the styles are out there- just don’t remember names and numbers!! There is a Big4 pattern for the high neck knit with the split on the front for sure. Just made 2 Mile End sweaters from Closet Core with the gathered tie at the front, one in modal jersey and the other in sweatshirt fabric and love them. Have also adapted the Paper Theory pattern to add drawstrings at the waist which works well. Happy Sewing. Lynne😊

Congrats on almost being at 5000 subscribers! Your channel is one of my favorites. Seamwork has two patterns that may work for the cropped drawstring top - the Riley top is sleeveless but has the same feature at the waist and the Rooney sweater is a boxier top with a drawstring at the waist.

I'm really into vests and short sleeved jackets this year. I hacked the aurabelle sleeveless cowlneck top and made it into a cropped vest. I used thick fleecy sweatshirt fabric for our Autumn/Winter in Australia and it was lovely and cozy.

Always love the inspiration videos! Also always love, love pictures of Claude, and this one is priceless! ❤ That yellow crop top that’s really wide with the tight lower sleeves is super cute, but as soon as it gets cold here I’m layering but always have a handknit wool sweater of some kind on top, so not seeing how to work something like that. Actually, you are the expert on layering, so might throw this question out, if you have any ideas, or think it might be interesting to anyone else. I lived in tee-shirts (and light cardigan sometimes) for summer, long sleeved with wool knits in winter, until I started sewing again a few years ago. Even the boxy tops that fit well when worn alone are always bunching up when I try to wear something over them. It happens with a few bought tops that I’ve upcycled as well. I really want to make long-sleeved versions of some of these woven tops for winter but have no idea if there’s anything that would help them be wearable under sweaters! Any suggestions?

Loved all the fashions but not sure how they would love the figure. Claude looked nice & relaxed. I have a Pitbull who looks a lot like your Claude. She is a lady who sleeps in some unladylike like positions herself. Her name is Molly.
