1) Yes 2) Unsure. The Bit Bar is purpose driven. The BitVault is personal. You can use it for whatever you want. I don't always carry the Bit Bar, but I wouldn't mind having something LIKE it that can also hold toothpicks, my (much needed allergy meds) and other small, improtant things.

If they could make it so the battery is part of the iner case of the bitlight (so the bitlight will have the same free space as the bitvault) it would be such a good EDC gear!!!

I have a leather toolkit with all my torx heads and bits. And I got it for 9 dollars. Much cheaper than this. But this is very solid and built to last it looks like. I wish they made a cheaper smaller version for pills. I carry a lot of different pills in my medical edc

It's cool and all, but I can't think of anything I use regularly to put in it other than my earbuds. I guess if I needed a bunch of bits and carried a multitool it would make sense. Or if I was an enterprising pill addict..

Sorry I don’t get it. It is big and bulky. Only holds six bits. Who would mix medicine with bits contaminated germs and who knows what else? I use a Keybar bullet with smaller CR123 battery containers from County Comm(one for pills and one for bits) holds a lot more and better storage.😐

If only it were a ratcheting bit driver that came with a proper set of impact rated bits. The bitvault is nearly useless as a tool and pointless for carrying small items. A cigarette box, pack of gum, or sunglasses case provide greater storage capacity for absolutely no additional cost. The bitvault is a gimmick adult toy that should be at the dollar store.
