Soleil, can you spend some time talking about what you do to keep your Clematis looking so good on their trellis's. Mine are usually a snarled mess! And if you don't mind, what do you do to keep Dianthus looking so good? I love the way you trim and cut back your plants! i am trying to learn that skill.
Yes! We’re getting LOTS of rain and wind! It’s only going to get to 60*…great for working outside 😅 I’m fighting chipmunks and deer this year. Your garden looks AWESOME! I enjoy your videos very much. Rain Strong winds even a tornado in Livonia Michigan!🙋🏽♀️😣
I heard about the pop up tornado. Hope everyone is ok over there. Thank you for your nice comments and for sharing. Those chipmunks are everywhere along with the bunnies this year!!
Here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada we have frost warning for tonight, June 8! We have moved every pot, window box etc inside the garage, the laundry room, sheds and even bathtubs. Living walls have been covered. We even have plants in my husband's truck bed. I planted out about 600 annuals. Have gardened here every summer of my adult life and this is unusaual even for us. My tomato plants and pepper plants have begun to set on fruit already. Anything in the ground will just have to suck it up. We have run out of sheets to cover them up. Your tour is beautiful. We'll see how my garden looks in a week. Remind me why I love gardening. Lol😂
Oh my goodness, what a crazy weather pattern. 😳 I hope everything is surviving!!! If you come out ok on the other side you will be right back with the gardening bug! 🥰
As you were talking about the chipmunks eating your strawberries it looked like one ran across your path or maybe it was a small squirrel, anyway it was probably the fruit culprit 😂😮
Your garden is looking fantastic! The hostas are a wow. There is a new variety that I’m looking to get I still have a bit of shade in my corner garden. Everything is looking so lush this week. Peonies are beautiful and the scent is divine. Waiting on my hydrangeas as well. We have had rain and wind. This week much warmer to push the growth. Have a great day Soleil. 👩🏻🌾🌸🌿🌺💚
Seems like there are a lot more yellow annuals available than there were a few years ago. I’m using a few yellow petunias and nemesis in pots this year for a change.
I really enjoy watching your garden tour. The bird bath garden statue looks beautiful just the way you are using it. Everything is so beautiful. How do you keep the Scabiosa from spreading throughout the garden? Also, what variety is your lungwort plant?
As usual I’m enjoying my Saturday morning in your garden. My yard is a sea of green and everything is budded but here in southcoast MA we are behind you on blooming. Soon as I finish watching I’ll be out in my garden.
What a variety of beautiful 🌿plants🌳 & 🌺 flowers 💐 . My lilac bush didn’t bloom this year - found out your not suppose to fertilize it- I never did before this spring - oh well 🤷🏻♀️
Beautiful garden. Does your boom chocallatta come back every year in your zone 5 or is it an annual? I was just looking at one and was wondering if it would do well in zone 7. Thanks for sharing
Do you use your way back garden for extra plants or transplants? We had lots of rain too, but now it’s warm in the 80s. Zone 7b, Williamsburg, Virginia.
What were the spider seed pod plants you showed? The transcript didn’t seem to translate well and I couldn’t understand what you said. They were gorgeous!
Your gardens are filling in nicely! So happy we're movng into June. I love your new blue rocking chairs. Were they pretty easy to assemble? I have an autumn joy sedum that I am afraid to cut back to prevent flopping later on. Can you share how you cut yours and when to do it?
They were very straightforward as the directions were good and the stickers were on each piece, very organized and packed well. Loving them so far. You can cut back now, I have done it before in a Chelsea chop video in my Playlist.
Are your blush smooth hydrangeas doing well? I ordered some from the same company so hoping they will do well ❤ I have them coming at the end of September, excited to get them.
I think they are comfortable and I added a cushion because I like them. If you click on the link in the description the website should have the dimensions so you could measure!!
