Early morning walk along the coast at Southwold 

Early morning walk along the shore at Southwold Suffolk. Starting at Gun Hill Canon and heading north. Going past the majority of the beach huts the town has to offer, the lighthouse, two RNLI units and finishing up at the pier.
Filmed in June 2024 & making the most of the few days in the UK where the sky is perfectly blue, this video shows the real beauty of the coastline before most people have gotten out of bed and had their breakfast. The beach is practically empty & most businesses haven't started for the day just yet. Its easy to understand why this place is know for its extraordinary natural beauty.
Southwold has been protected from natural erosion in the form of its concrete sea wall with an estimated value of £20 million, along with the wooden groynes we can see in the video & rock groynes just north of the pier.
