In January of 1992, Dave had become restless at Brown-Forman and was ready to branch out on his own and start the beverage development consulting business he couldn’t stop thinking about. A year and a half later, Dave went all in and left Brown-Forman to make his consulting business, Pro-Liquitech, his full-time gig. So with a few nearly-maxed-out credit cards, a residential condo, and a passion and talent for creating unique, original beverages, Dave officially set out on his mission to change what the world was drinking. First for Chiquita Brands and then Denny Weldon, who remains a client to this day, more than 30 years later.
