If you wish to be part of the Money Matters series, please fill up this form: forms.gle/uj9JPUBp8Wo9nZQi7 Money Matters is a series where I have conversations with normal people such as you and I, on your personal finance issues. It is important to note that I am NOT a financial expert, I am NOT SEBI registered, and I am NOT qualified to give financial advice. Everything that I say in these videos is purely through my own experiences. So these videos do not offer any stock tips, or specific mutual fund recommendations or get-rich-quick schemes. I am not selling any product or service through these videos. None of the brands that I mention in these videos have paid me to mention them, unless I explicitly say so (and I will say if the video is sponsored). This also means that my advice may not always be the right advice. So incase I make a mistake, the best way to correct me will be to share your point of view in the comments, so that everyone can benefit from it. I am not perfect, nor claiming to be either and would love to learn and grow. The idea is simply to help people with their finance journey and through their story try to help others who may have a similar story. Very random discussion Ankur Cost of Childs education - unknown Cost of health insurance - unknown Cost of living post ten yrs -unknown Cost of sons marriage - unknown Cost of house repair or purchase - unknown SO THIS CALCULATION IS IMPOSSIBLE PLUS RETIREMENT AT 38 when son reaches his teenage she will make her child’s life TRAUMATIC AS TEENS NEED FRIENDS AND SOCIAL LIFE NOT MOMS FULL TIME 😂 BEING REALISTIC 🤪
Sir, Really curious how this conversation would be with a person from finance background..May be a CA Definitely, That would be great session with lots of leanings 🔥
Education inflation in India at present is 11-12 % and so as food inflation at 9-10 %. Moreover markets never give consistent returns, since we are looking for a SWP it will definitely give lesser returns as we are withdrawing consistently from the corpus.
Taxes on investments will continue to go up and up in coming years and decades. By 2030 LTCG will be 20%. If these "financial planners" take taxation into calculation then their careers will be over. Treat these as any other stupid RU-vid channel. Don't try to learn too much from them.
@@firstnamelastname5761 Andha hai kya bhai, wo financial planner mein already taxes ko consider kiya hua hai. Don't comment bullshit with very little knowledge. That financial planner was released in one of his recent video and everyone can access it. And it considers everything - be it taxes, inflation etc etc.
A very good solution in this case would be to just increase the retirement age from 38 to 40. Addition of those 2 years would have make a huge difference in the whole planning 😇
@@evanalbert8979 that's his channel all about.. just like our family/friends.. we know the cold/fever(general) meds., are we docs ? We advise everyone.. right? It just means.. take proper advice from a qualified one., I am just giving you suggestions.. again that is a choice for friends/family
Dear IITan @Warikoo sir, Kindly add home renovation cost, painting cost(since you are planning till 85 years)cost to buy refrigerator, TV, water purifier, AC, Geyser, computer, mobile etc. once they reach end of life. Sometimes due to termite problem we might again need to do woodwork or have to buy new almirah on adhoc basis A small 2nd hand car might also be required in future, please add that cost also along with service and fuel cost.
Great insights. Got to learn a lot from it. Ankur one last thought from my side. May you please attach the excel file too, it would be very helpful for our financial modeling as well?
Next Video Recommendation - For good lifestyle and early retirement, how much a person (IT professional) should earn in a job as compared to number of years of experience. Can you please make video on that? So that the people doing job will stay motivated and look forward for next year salary.
I can say 1 thing for sure, Maharashtrian Moms are the best when it comes to plan future goals 😅. Respect to all Moms over the world, you all are best.
I have a doubt. What does it mean to end an sip after 1 year ? Does it mean u have to redeem the amount ? Because then u will lose compunding value right ? Or Does it mean that continue taht same sip with 10 percent step up ?
Ankur Ji.. SWP withdrawal pe bhi toh tax lagega short term ya long term..toh uska impact kese bear krege retirement ke time pe.. Is there any way we dont need to pay any tax on SWP. Withdrawal
Hey Ankur, I'd like to discuss my situation in your Money Matters videos. I need some advice on how to systematically pay off my two home loans that I purchased this year. Any feedback would be great. Please advise ?
Sir ek question tha, archu has invested money in 3 different sip(mutual fund) so if she wants to do swp at the age of 38 then how she can do it? Curious to know it? Or anyone other one please let me know? Will she withdrwal all money from all mutual funds and put it in one nifty 50 ? Or any other way to do it?
SWP is being played wrongly. Not all funds return 12% each year. There could be multi year flat/negative return years and your expenses cant be flat during those years which will eat up the fund drastically. Please do suggest BUCKET STRATEGY instead of just SWP.
Don't give wrong hopes by assuming inflation as 5 %. The segmental inflation is minimum 10%. And even higher. Consider the inflation in healthcare, education. Just for the sake of excel sheet maths, this will ruin lives of ppl depending on these maths
Segment depends on where you want to spend your money on. After quitting job and being financially free you won't be spending your money in segments which have a higher inflation. So I think it's justified.
Bro iam doing mutual fund. Apart from that I am doing some individual stocks.can we do ETF instead of individual stocks.. it may reduce risk😅.. whats your thought?
@Ankur Sir: You give very nice insights and I love your videos especially the education ones where you tell us about investing concepts. I would request you to please also do a video considering a halal investor. Because there are some of us who cannot buy index funds containing companies involved in war, gambling etc or highly leveraged ones.
Hi Sir, Can you please share that retirement plan excel sheet which you have explained in the video or Is it already available in any of your existing videos?
It's related to increasing them by 10%. So in order to increase your SIP by 10%, you'll need to go back to your SIP configurations and quit the old one and make a new one with the increased amount. But if the app that you already use provide this functionality to increase the SIP amount in the same SIP, then you don't need to quit and restart the new one. Just configure the older one.
Respected Ankur sir 🙏 Mera ek sawal hai....main 3 mutual funds main paise agar lagaunga....toh mera pure paise gayab hone ka yani ki 0 return hone ka chances hai ??
@warikoo it will be good if you can create one template and share it with us so that we can also check on our own. I know it is not possible for you to be on 1:1 call with every subscriber.
sir at 21:17, if they have quit their work at 39, how will they increase 5% investment everytime unless already invested amount is growing itself more than inflation
When you put in a age when you want to quit your job in the excel sheet, your investment stops and SWP starts, that's maintained using formulaes written in the excel sheet. He shared this in one of his previous videos. So, it is correct. Don't worry.
Agar yah single mother hai to bahut tough hai but agr divorce ho chuka hai to divroce ke baad jo alimony milegi ya per month 50 k ass pass milegi/mil rhi hai wo jodna hoga....kyuki agr iski 75k salary hai to inke husband ki 1 lakh to hogi hi.....so wo bhi consider krna higa

Hi Ankur could you please bring any soldier (jawan ) of Indian army navy or airforce ... Because my brother is one of them . They are not allowed to show their identity on social platforms but they can discuss . They generally deduct their money in ppf only .. because all armed forces personnel (jawans) save in ppf only ..
Sir please put English subtitles to your videos sir. Subscribers for South can't understand hindi.but most of them understand English that's why please put English subtitles ❤❤
Hi Ankur! I appreciate your effort and approach. But there are a lot of things you might have knowingly or unknowingly missed. Even a 1% change in your assumptions can massively impact her. What if the inflation is 6.5% and not 5. What if in future she needs a bigger heath insurance. She also might not be able to step up by 8-10% every year given some big expenses or an unfavourable job market. She will jave higher rent expenses and the real easte rental market inflation is significantly more than consumer proce inflation. She can't make a big purchase like a house or car with an expense of 50k per month. Believe me, she'll be worse off. Please consider these. There is also a lack of emergency fund and contagion might make the stock market heavily plunge some year which will leave her with no significant emergency fund. Her parents ae old what about their emergency medical expenses. Sorry to say. But this plan is disastrous. Massive disaster. It has the potential to cage her in the lower middle class forever. Please consider these. Anyways, huge respect for the initiative.
Sir mujhe Rs 10000 per manth ki SIP start karni hai to kin-kin funds me invest karna chahie please reply sir Meri age 37 yers hai aur mujhe 15 yers ke liye invest karna hai Please reply sir
@@warikoo I think that's valid question. A child belongs to both parents. I was also curious if her husband is not interested in the child. It's okay if that's the case but we shouldn't ridicule the question.
@@lavkushvns I don't think it's a valid question. If has something to do with the child, she would have already mentioned about him. Also, why the fuck we people don't ask this question when a man comes in money matter and let's say doesn't mention about his wife?
@@lavkushvns clearly this lady isn’t in a proper state of mind , imagine 38-85 if she manages to live like that she said without work she wants to live n concentrate on the son !
