The ski season is starting very slow at whistler Blackcomb this year. We have still had some pretty great days though so cant complain to much. Filmed on Gopro hero 9 Skis: Atomic Bent chetler 100
Mad props; that isn’t powder, it’s Whistler chowder. Looks pretty but it’s wet coast jambalaya, particularly as you get lower on the mountain. Heavy, wet and just enough to cover the stumps, rocks and creeks. Must have a combo of legs, cardio and technique to pull it off. Nice one.
Beautiful! I’m so mad rn because the resort closest to me got like 6 feet of snow over a week and I wasn’t able to go 😭 we went to sun valley instead and they have absolutely no snow but it was still fun
I did 2 seasons there also. Was on mountain 130+ days each season and still have plenty of stuff I didn't get to. And that's just all the inbounds stuff. Whistler is amazing 🙌
@tristancleary try red mountain or kicking horse if you want unparalleled. I prefer red cause RCR kinda sucks but the terrain at kicking horse is awesome too.
I’m leaning back a fair but then there’s stuff that can catch my tips but typically you wanna avoid skiing backseat and get good shin pressure on you’re boots
Thanks, makes sense to keep the tips up. I nailed a rock in early season skiing under the snow that sent me flying and almost busted a hip. Early season can be sketchy@@BCmtb
I think he mentioned it is 172. Personally I have the 180 one, not the best on hard pack as they are all wood after all. I’d think Maverick would be a better choice for hard pack days
I have it mounted on the top of my helmet towards the front. Then I just angle it so it can see my tips but also the terrain in front. You just gotta play around and see what works best
