I was hoping you could have explained dropping the cutting deck but I see you've already removed yours. I inherited my father's 856, needs a fuel pump or a rebuild kit if they have it and I need to remove the deck.

Most of them had belly-mounted mower decks on them for mowing grass. They also had other attachments like plows, discs, planters, snow blowers, dozer blades, generators and whatever else you could run off the belt pulley on the side.
I don't think they make seats that fit any more. I bought these generic seats years ago, and don't remember where. They didn't fit between the fenders so I welded spacers on the bottom. I didn't want to drill holes in the tractor to fit the seat so I welded nuts on the bottom of the seat to fit the existing holes in the tractor.
