What an incredible collection. There should be a book about this guy. I found John Mcdivitt's obituary. There was no mention of his world class work or family. Only that he was salesman at the Pittsburgh Metal purifying Co. A guy with his talents should be celebrated.

A magnificent craftsman indeed. We can't take our stuff with us. I pray John knows Jesus. It behooves us to know Him. Perhaps we will see our stuff again.

The attention to detail is a joy to behold. Every bolt nicely rounded; a beautiful finish without a scratch in sight. Also a great choice of colours for the engines. I was about to remark "And every single one of them runs sweetly like a swiss watch!", but then, at 7:13 you use this simile yourself ;-) Thanks ever so much for sharing the images of these engines running!

Brilliant work by Mr. McDivitt. I often wonder when I see craftsmanship like this, what the builders workshop and machinery looked like. Do you have any video or photos of the workshop where Mr. McDivitt created these beauties? Great tribute too by the way. Well done.
