Yes some of the pix came out dark for some reason, but over all I like it, the whole video has a dark look which is cool in a way. Yes you're right, the reality of it is sad.
Syd looks so goth he makes My Chemical Romance seem light in comparison, and this being in 1969 is insane. Nobody would appear like this ever, the raggedy, unkempt hair, the heavy eyeliner, it was a style decades ahead of its time.
Thanks for these. It's nice to see Syd smiling in a few of these pix. He looks more depressed than insane. And that is not a standard Telecaster case. Maybe they were different in those days.
So Mick Rock, like any photographer, takes a thousand photos for a photo shoot. Unlike those other professional photographers, he dribbles out every little variation and throw-away to keep leaching off his subject. Pathetic.
