These inventories are so cool! I remember here in the UK-independent video stores before Blockbuster took them over, i think 1 was called "lucky star" and another one more later and separate to Blockbuster was called "Choices Video". Of course that was just for VHS at that point, but i'm sure the first store would of had Betamax available originally. I love old technology myself, and have imported Laserdisc players from the USA and more recently in the past few years- imported the first video player available over there where you are to here in the UK, and that came out in 1977! So long ago! The Betamax machines look much more retro and cooler than the VHS machines though. I have considered buying them too, but i never got around to buying any Beta from the USA before i couldn't afford to anymore, as everything got much more expensive to buy and import such heavy machines. I'm loving watching your videos though man! -Really interesting seeing all the vintage tech and how you fix them and bring them back to life! It's great. You have made me want to start collecting Betamax myself again now and you have given me some idea about how to fix them to bring them back to life-as i wouldn't of had a clue before! 🙂Keep up the good work. I hope to someday have the same vintage set up here in the UK too ;-) All the best man. -Daniel.
