Last week we successfully tested our first official installation for the Epirus Prefecture. This video contains raw footage from our debug view during those tests.
In co-ordination with the fire department we tested our smoke detection capabilities at increasing distances between the smoke and the camera sensor.
Closest test was at 150 meters (~500 ft) from the Outpost.
Furthest test was at 2000 meters (~1.25 miles) from the Outpost.
During that week our system also picked up two unsanctioned farm-field fires one at ~2200 meters (~1.37 miles) and the other at ~3750 meters (~2.33 miles) from the Outpost.
Outpost is an autonomous monitoring system for perimeter security and disaster detection for critical infrastructure.
The system jointly detects, tracks, classifies and geo-locates various objects of interest (smoke pillars, vehicles, water-vessels, persons, and drones / other air-crafts).
Lambda Automata has the ability to extend this set of objects to match the needs of any mission.
