omg the Tsareena deck is genius. have the lively stadium hitting basic pokemon and stage 2s and then swapping to gravity mountain and dropping them both by 30hp KOs everything youve hit
It also locks your opponent out of playing a stadium unless they want to give up prize(s). One of the best ideas for a deck that I've seen in a long time.
My main deck is tsareenaEX. The only time i've felt like it was unfair is when the opponent is playing an off-meta deck. In those cases I might tone down the pace and see what they have If they're playing chien-paoEX, charizardEX, I feel nothing lol
So in ancient box, what would you prefer, a walking Wake that literally cannot attack or a koridon that can attack and also hit fighting weak pokemon pretty hard.
Dusknoir makes hydreigon lists so clunky, I really don't know what is better. I've even saw some lists that focus more on the first attack and the mix between damage and mill potential with Missfortune and Xerosic
I think something like the list at 7:14 will prove to be the best way to play it. Focus on the first attack, use Radiant Alakazam to gradually move damage counters to the likes of squawk and fish, whilst gradually powering up Obsidian in the background to clean up. Milling 3 cards is underrated I think. It's basically a reverse Fez every turn you attack with it.
The Tsareena decks looks interesting, but not fun for the opponent, of course. Really looking forward to play Archaludon, my favorite Pokémon of this set.
Is the idea of damage counter re-distribution decks (specifically where you’re taking damage that’s already on Pokémon and moving them to other Pokémon) considered toxic? Not talking about dusknoir
Why? You don't want every one playing the same deck just with different pictures, surly different strategies is what makes a game interesting even if you don't like it
