The factory covers an area of 1.200 square meters. At the day we visit, there are roughly 10 workers.
• Outsourcing strategy
GEP use suppliers who have qualifications to manufacture batteries.
• Human Resource
They have around 60 employees, 40 of them are manufacturing personnel. They also have 5 quality controllers and 3 employees in R&D section.
• Customers
GEP is an international-customer-oriented company, so all of their customers are from outside China. They have major customers such as METRO (Germany), JVC (Japan), RS (US).
• Positives
Devoted to developing their own patents to achieve competitive edge in the market and protect their products。
The earphone is 0.5 watt in power and works at a distance of over 7 meters. The volume sounded 50% higher than the Factory 1 product.
• Surprises
The owner of GEP paid a lot of attention in R&D and quality improvement.
