I really love this ladies wire work, it's beyond awesome and is so beautiful, I love watching you work, and it's very inspiring, occasionally I try my hand at copying your tutorials, yesterday, April 03.04.18 I made three pairs of your spiral earings by following along with your video, I made one short pair, two longer dangling pairs all in silver wire, I put ruby red crystals at the top of one pair between the earings and the ear wires the rest was just wire and then I did a different variation by wire wrapping a teardrop shaped glass bead in ameythist colour it's like a deep purple. The hole in the ameythist bead was not down the center but it was in a straight line cutting across the top of the bead from left to right. I wire wrapped by taking a much longer length of wire through the holes from side to side, bending the wires upward towards the top of the bead until the wires are even in length then cross and twist them, then leave one wire sticking up while using the other wire to begin wrapping around its stem in a down ward direction while pressing the wire against the glass teardrop bead, I like this effect, it looks nice and professional. I finish off the wire wrapping of the glass bead by creating a silver spiral for a decorative touch this sits underneath the rows of wire wrapping I just finished, I press the silver spiral flat on to the bead covering the edge of the wire wrapping. It looks good the silver is a great colour contrast against the back ground of the purple glass bead and enhances it's appearance. I then focus on finishing the top part of the earings by creating four small spirals each one smaller in size to the last one, then I make a loop at the very top of my earings for my 2 jump rings to attach to then I attach a ready made ear wire ear ring hook. I was over the moon that your video, helped me to make these earings, and they do look great, I wish I could show you a photo of them, but I'm having a problem with my phone camera, when I get the problem fixed I will send you a link to a page where you can look at these photos either on Facebook or Pinterest, it would be so great if you could see them as you are the person who inspired me to make them. Lan Anh Handmade I have made some jewelry already and given as gifts they loved them...!! thanks and Blessings again.. do you have any favorite pieces ?
Thank you very much for this very clear tutorial. You have techniques that are so easy to follow. I have made one too using aluminum silver color because I'm still a beginner.
Hi Leanne! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing gift & art with us! I was wondering if the wire your twisting is flat or round & does it matter? Thanks again for your time and effort in making these videos! ❤️😍
@@LanAnhHandmade thank you for replying! I actually thought you were using flat! LOL I always have round, I never see flat wire in the store, prolly have to order online! really beautiful work! I had a few more questions, if you don't mind...?
@@LanAnhHandmade I want to learn how to do what you do. Make beautiful things possibly sell them. Hopefully teach someone someday... Do you make a sustaining income doing this? If so, how can I start? Or maybe you can point me in the right direction?
