I work in Boulder,co. My boss has one. He sold his Land Rover setup and got the pop top fuso. They just did a loop around Colorado for the last 3 weeks. They go all over. I tell him to start his own channel or do a interview on a channel like yours Down2MobOverland
Phil, Your walk-around cuts during a continuation of the interview == genius! The voice over visual examples of verbal descriptions works. From your first overland video, you showed incredible insight about keeping an audio-visual presentation interesting. Do I think you need a different rig? I think the Dodge is great; bomb-proof and proven, and you are familiar with its quirks and potential. How much is want compared to need? I believe your skills could net you a purpose-built rig designed for full-time video making. Do I think a rig from a fits-all manufacturer could be adapted to your occupation? Sure... but...
Sold, you had me at alcohol was involved, trick one out for me. Diesel heater fuel n stove. Big fridge TV n freezer, large lithium n solar, winch Bull barl ights, large water fuel, baffled tanks. Sound proof, Jason recliner no lounge, fitted queen bed, how much ? Wrap it up n put a ribbon on it,
Why the fuso? Those have weak motors compared to a modern f450 and such which I think will be a much better performing and looking platform ... also parts availability will be better (atleast in the America’s and even Australia and Europe )
parts availability for north american fords is not as good as you think.. i've driven across europe a few times and never saw a single american pickup truck but saw thousands of toyotas, nissans, isuzus, mitsubishi etc trucks and vans. the fuso is also much more maneuverable than a long-nose 4x4 pickup.
James HURD He has confidence in the product the company puts out, and provides reassurance that those vehicles will hold up or they don’t get the company name on it. What’s pompous about that?
Interesting. I got that he believes in the mission of his company, the opportunities it provides to the community they build them in, and the quality of the product. Are you sure we saw the same video?
Cool rigs, but this guy is trying too hard to be PT Barnum. No way a Tacoma can keep up with a Fuso? No way. No plywood? Who cares...plywood is good for many things. We make our own towel bar? Oooohhhh- I always wanted a custom towel bar....far better than getting one about as good for 1/10 the price. This guy just comes off as a full of shit salesman, which is too bad because they seem like good rigs
