Percussion are outstanding. M. White being a drummer himself you know Ralph and Philip had their work cut out for them and they did a tremendous job. They had to add another drummer Freddy because it was so much work. Phenomenal horns as well. Simply the best.

Being a percussionist myself it’s crazy because it took me a long time to figure out them crazy slaps on the skins, and yes finally got but it wasn’t easy and still ain’t got it down like this dude. EWF was by Al means one of the greatest musical group in the business.

My band covered this in the 70's. We made it more disco-danceable, to fit the times. Less jazz-themed sax. As a drummer, it was on me to drive a more danceable beat. And, I'm talking urban disco....not white disco.
