I will never be able to comprehend how JID finds a new flow for every single song he’s on.

Cole verse was so hard. Cadence's and flows so cold. Jid slid as always. Loving this track

I believe Cole's verse is necessary for this song. It completes perspectives of the grind, the come up, the survivor's guilt to give back, and then awareness of one's power which is where Cole is at. He mentions how his appearance can come off as homeless. Truth is: this is probably true for many who are rich financially and also spiritually. *It's the balance of worldly realities and internal humbleness for me.*

POWER and RUN TOO were my favorites off the EARTHGANG album. The comprehensive breakdown is always appreciated, much love from Japan.

Cole can't win lol Cole been rapping introspective and deep thoughts since he started but here and there he does boast he has songs where he flexes at times. I get it people don't want him to rap about it but he is 13 years into his career people keep calling him boring and hate his subject matter so he switch it just a little bit and people say no bro that is not it go back to.... lol

Nah JID has hella melody. Listen to his feature on Doja Cat- Options. He knows and incorporates melody very well

Everyone is sleeping on American Horror Story. They dropped AHS a few months ago and it's one of the best songs I've heard all year. Power ft. Ceelo Green and Nick Cannon is really good content and Run To ft Ari Lennox is the perfect closing track.

I love this track it’s the type that didn’t I didn’t love in the beginning but keep going back to. And I know exactly how you feel with Coles verse because I was disappointed at first too. Definitely want a track where he gets in his bag with these guys cause they can go in telling a story… but it’s such and enjoyable track that I really appreciate his verse now as well. Just a dope vibe overall

Phoelix (pronounced Felix) is actually a dope artist in his own right. He’s the vocalist for the Dinner Party (Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, and 9th Wonder) group, has done production for Smino and Saba, and has a few projects of his own. My favorite of his is Tempo. Y’all should really check him out! Also, Daoud is pronounced Dah-ood, lol!

I think Cole talks to other people on the track and he directed it at jid. He's been talking about reviving the sport between rappers. And I think as part of that he send shots on tracks as sport. for me I feel like he was talking to Benny on the other track too

Recent fan here, I love how you guys are able to break down and analyze the lyrics and pontificate on what the message is or who its meant for. I would love to see you guys do some reaction videos to some “Jazz”. I’m sure you guys are away of how “Jazz” has influenced Hip-Hop/Rap and if we’re being honest, Rock/Metal and many other styles of music, but recently “Jazz” itself has been influenced by Hip Hop as well, so even if you’re not into the older stuff, I think you guys would really enjoy some of the new stuff going on nowadays. I know you guys are open to all genres and are all about getting more exposure for newer/under-appreciated artists, so it seems like it would be an all around win to me !
