I swear kids in America don’t care at all they will hide under desk and laugh up a storm meanwhile a whole book shelf fell on the teacher they will just laugh
axix0 Our teacher told us to hurry and get under the Washbasin quick if there were few people and if there is too many we need to hurry and get into a classroom with chairs or table as quick as we can lolz.
@@anshikakushwaha111 im from india and when earthquake occured in 2015 somewhere our teacher left all us alone and we pupil were like yeah earthquake school ki chutti ho gyi(no more school today) 🤣🤣that was an epic scene And many of us seriously didnt know that it was real we thought thats a normal drill and we all got out of the building and ran and played in the open ground We are adviced not to stay in the building but to run away to an open area But i think why japanese kida are like that maybe bcz earthquake occurs a lot over there
@@archanavarshney7748 😂😂😂. Our teachers told us to go to a open area during and Earth quake. But yeah, don't know why Japanese people hide under the table during an earthquake. Agr earthquake aaya hai to puri building hil ke gir bhi skti hai. Pr vo to usi building me table ke neeche chup jaate hai. Pata nhi kyo?
@@anshikakushwaha111 nhi asal mai ye hota hai ki agar earthquake aya ho to aap apni table ke neeche chup skte ho agar aap band ho Magar mere khayal se open area mai jana zyada safe hai Zaroor koi reasons honge
I'm Japanese who lives in Tohoku. I was in the classroom of my elementary school when the earthquake came. It was so impressive for me that the all students including me immediately hid under the desks without any confusion. We were just like robots. My body moved while I was unconscious. I think thanks to the periodic drills, we could "automatically" protect ourselves.
I’m Italian and I live in the north of Italy. When I was in elementary school (2012), a magnitude 6 earthquake struck many of Italy’s northern regions (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Northern_Italy_earthquakes ). My classmates and I all moved like robots and hid under the desks without making a sound. We had done a few exercise drills before, but we’d never had to deal with the real thing. If you’re trained and know how to act, your body’s gonna move before you even have time to think. Luckily both my school and my house were quake-proof. However, many ancient historical buildings unfortunately collapsed. Edit: I added a link to the Wikipedia article in case you’re interested.
@@kohei-ty2pb Do you know something about geography? China has earthquakes and very big ones, even bigger than in Japan. Many Chinese earthquakes were of above 8,00 and they are in the continent, not in the sea. The most devastating earthquake was the Shaanxi one in 1556, killing 830,000 people in central China.
the kids are so obedient and actually hid under the tables without making any noise. i guess these kids are in 1st or 2nd grade but also they have so much understanding , proud of u japan
Kids in Japan: *hides under the desk* My school: form a line and walk calmly thru the field and smile because you well get posted on social media after the drill
We are fine. We love here. Japan had been Japan before we came here. We are the ones who have to adopt this environment. We respect nature and it teaches a lot. Come to Japan if you have a chance. Thanks for your concern though.
Kids in Japan: hides under desk in 00000000000000000000000000.1 seconds* Kids in my country: there’s no earthquakes in Canada bit- shaking starts) AHHH SONOVA BI-
Man I am not saying they are not obedient but there is a fucking earthquake coming ! It's instinct to jump under the table, what do you expect ? them dancing the macarena ?
Kids in Japan: Goes under the tables calmly Kids in America: *Starts screaming, cursing, running around, smoking weed, hitting someone, shooting someone, playing with their phones, eating the gum under the table*
When an earthquake happened in my school(6.4), the alarm only started when the earthquake ended 14/1/2022 Edit: Bruh a 6.7 Earthquake has just hit my area(Tangerang) and this time, the earthquake only started when the school ended. 4/2/2022 Edit: Yet another earthquake hit Tangerang. The magnitude was 5.5. However, this time to me it felt like a single boom on the ground. While the earthquake 3 weeks ago was full shaking for a minute.
My school earthquake drill Students on stairs : bhago Bhai Bhago Jaan laga kar bhago kisi ko Chot lag jaye tention ki baat nahi bas Bhago😂 Me : Shanty Shanty ye asli earthquake nahi hai bhai😂

I wish my school had this school alarm system. Our school alarm sounds like a trains horn basting throughout the school. Loud enough make my ears ring all day.
Japan have their own early warning system and I can assure you it's one of the best. Also Japanese structures/buildings are made earthquake proof, they don't break; they sway.
I am in the UK so we don’t really get earthquakes and I’m so grateful bc these look terrifying. I’ve watched videos and idk if you guys can relate but if some thing scary happens i always seem more comfortable in school with my classmates rather than at home. Idk why but that’s always been the case for me.
There was a small earthquake in south Wales and the south west a few years ago and it felt so weird, like the world was sort of squeezing in and out. Obviously nothing serious happened but some books did fall off the shelves. I had no idea what was going on lol
Kids in my school would start screaming, crying, making tik toks, run away, and ask to go to the bathroom even though they went five minutes ago but only went so they can play fortnite
Kids in Japan: *alarm warning* Calmly goes under the table My school: *alarm warning* "AAAHHHHHHHH" "I NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM" "KHUEXUBHEDXUBHXDEUBHBHUEDXBUH" "YES, CLASS IS OVER!!" *faints* *runs/climbing around like psychos* *still writting things* Wth is this-
I'm from Canada and was raised in various quake zones, we never did earthquake drills. One time there was an earthquake and when we were under our desks we were all laughing because the smart board was 'dancing'. I SWEAR MY CLASS WAS VLUELESS AF BUT AT THE SAME TIME WASNT CLUELESS ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND TO GET UNDER THE DESKS
When earthquake siren occurred. Kids in japan: hides under the table silently Kids in the Philippines: *AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OWAOWWOWAOWAAOWOAWOAOOWOWWOOAWOOAWOA RATATATATATTATATATATATA WAAAAAAAAASAAAAAAAA*
Lol true bro my classmates if theres a earthquake siren occured " *OMG We Are gonna die here for real, Oh my Gawd i need my phone real fast now!,gosh j really need to pee real bad,Hahahahahaaha,Aodnwocnw* " btw im from the philippines also even its just a earthquake drill lol
In my college/country there is no such thing as earthquake alert system. When there was an earthquake of about 4.8 we were in a lab on 6th floor. When the tremors started we started looking at each other asking if its an earthquake. Later we found out the teacher already ran out the moment he felt tremors. That day i found out our college's motto is everyone for himself and now i am learning how to fight for whenever there is a shortage of food in hostel mess.
Tokyo school: stays silent My school: *OMG IM SO EXCITED, UGHH ITS GONNA BE SO HOT NOW, I NEEDED TO PEE, MY FOOD...,YAYAYAYYAYAYA,WEWEWEEWWEW,HAHAHAHAHHA,EEEEEEEEE,*
This is also a part of curriculum that students must learn in their schools called life lesson.but unfortunately india lacks this kind of education.feeling bad being an indian
@@TheKing62962 dude,do you really think a 10 year old would know what is earthquake and what is tsunami and should they volunteer to ask the teacher?? A lesson should be taught by the teacher to the students. And may be you have studied in one big international school who taught you about this, which is almost 0.01percent of the remaining schools in india ..and I m not blaming the whole india,I m blaming the education system in india.
@@gowsalya3182I agree on education system. But i remember there some lessons related to such things teacher also teaches some external things that was not in our books.
@@TheKing62962 yes,but very few teacher's do...some teachers of government schools fails to take even the lessons from their subject...hope so this should not happen.

This is very very interesting. They have a separate alarm for earthquakes while Greek schools use the bell. We know it's an earthquake warning if the bell rings twice short duration, that means get under the desks, hang on and wait. One short ring means that the coast is clear, evacuate the premises immediately. Then we run to the school's field which on one spot has our class numbers on, you'd go to your own and wait. That's when the teachers see if everybody made it out.
amazing. i watched fottage of 2011 japan earthquake and was amazed how collected people were, not panicking and immediatelly ducking and protecting their heads. now I see how seriously these drills are taken from a very young age.
One time there was people with gun shooting police outisde the school and this is kinda normal so the teacher continued her work while we were under the chairs. There was literally an student crying because she wasn't from my country so she was not used to it and the classmates comforting her while a student tried to answer the question.
Kids in Japan: *hides under desks already* My Classroom: **screams** **Makes a lot of noises** **some laughter** **doesnt get under desks already** **a lot of talking** Me: **sighs** Why.. cant this class be normal for once but atleast we always get jokes and everybody laughs everyday! I miss my classmates too bad we have to be in different classes :( oh shoot why am i telling this to people-
When i eas in 3rd grade like an earthquake started and since were on the third floor, everyone was scared and i heard students rushing out in the hallway, my teacher said to stay in the building even though theres literally people outside
Sorry my bad english u,n,u Here in Chile, when there is an earthquake, the teacher continues to teach until the earthquake stops, and the director decides that it was strong enough to turn on the alarm. Then she turns on the alarm for students and teachers to go down to the safe area. (the backyard). I think we have never gotten under the tables (maybe we did it a few times xdd) in an earthquake and much less someone has put on a helmet xd but it is fun to miss the classes to be in the backyard, I used to bring my food and things to play / draw with my friends skdkdj 😎
When I lived in japan and went to Japanese school this is exactly what we did (and yes, an actual earthquake happened) and we instantly went under the table. This was before 2011, the year the tsunami hit I was in Okinawa at home and we had the earthquake that caused the tsunami later on in 2011.
