Other comedians talk about Earthquake and respect the work but the thing is: the business of comedy doesn’t always reward the funniest or most talented. It’s a crap shoot (from what I can gather). Some “hit it” and some just sort of, “cruise along.” A person could talk about what’s “fair” but at the end of the day it appears to be about odds and probability. I bet it infuriates comedians but there it is.

I recommend watching the Def Jam 25th anniversary special on Netflix because its a lot of old school comics from the 90's in one place and it gives you a chance to get hip to some of those names.
