3:36 Asa romanian, I can confirm that I have never heard of this alarm in my life. The closest alarm I heard when I actually got an emergency warning is the Android/iPhone EAS alarm during really bad weather of some kind like a storm.

As a half Romanian, I go there every summer, but I have heard that siren a few times. It’s truly terrifying to hear this noise when you don’t expect it
Considering these were purpose-designed to cause panic and mobilization into people, they absolutely excel at their jobs at being genuinely horrifying.
I am French And I already have this alarm several times during training at school I'm not traumatized at all (it's still less worse than the intrusion alarm *traumatism intensifies*)
Yeah it was for a long time, but since some decades, this alarm is more used as an eas alarm for natural hazards like storms or for technological disasters 🥲
Do you think in future installments you could give a bit more information? Like if the sound is a phone alert or a recording of a siren? It's pretty clear for some but not for others

Okay, so I have a question for those in Turkey. What does a Yellow, Red and Black Alert mean? I'm confused. Is it in terms of an attack, or like weather related?
Yellow warning literally means pre-attack warning. An air raid attack may be POSSIBLE, not IMMINENT. So when you hear that signal except November 10th 09:05 AM, you should prepare for sheltering and getting supplies before Attack Warning Red. (Red alert) Red alert is IMMINENT air raid attack warning. I don't know if red alert is used for nuclear attack warnings, but it should. Black alert is about chemical, biological, radiological and/or nuclear hazard(s), so yeah you are doomed if you hear black alert.

Yeah no. Italy has no active warning system at all. One is in the works, and it would operate just like an amber alert. No sirens. No techno-trance sound. No nothing. Here's an interesting story to further explain this. When the pandemic started and the Protezione Civile (that's Italian for Civic Protection) had to warn everyone, they borrowed cars with megaphones and used that to tell people that a statewide lockdown was issued. One of these cars passed like 50m away from my home. I had to ask my friends/colleagues what's all that about. Why? It was completely unintelligible mumbling So there we are. Italy
