(EAS Scenario / Analog Horror) - Liminality 

I’ve noticed a few comments about the Russian broadcast’s inaccuracy, and I’d like to apologize for that, because I don’t know any Russian so I had to use Google Translate for that. Thank you for watching!

As someone who’s been in the area of Law enforcement and Emergency Management for over 10 years. You absolutely nailed this!! Some EAS scenarios is just the news anchor repeating the same things as the EAS sometimes verbatim, or the EAS says stuff that would never be broadcasted over the EAS. You even got the police codes down. This was an original story with great voice acting and story telling. Keep up with quality like this and you will go places.

"Sleep no more than 90 minutes at a time" Boy, insomniacs and night owls are gonna go extinct real fast, eh?

the fact that many are integrating analog horror and eas scenarios makes these way more eerie

The symbolism of having it start on the Autumnal Equinox, the liminal space between seasons, is not lost on me. Good little detail there.

Quick theory: Patient Zero for Liminal Withdrawal was in New England, who was the first to experience a trigger dream and go through the symptoms. My theory is that patient zero was the only one to have a trigger dream organically, as in it just happened for them and it spread to everyone else. And the way it spread to everyone else is through word of mouth, essentially you would only experience Liminal Withdrawal if you knew about it. So the massive media coverage and warnings and awareness only served to make the problem worse because everyone unbeknowningly allowed it to spread by talking about it.

I gotta say the AI reconstructions and the images of the liminal dreams are cinematic master piece. You physically could not have made them any better. This is truly the best EAS concept and it is delivered in such an amazing way.

How to survive Liminality -set a very loud clock for 45 mins -60 mins before you go to sleep. The broadcast stated that you shouldnt sleep for more than 90 minutes. -Sleep that time around 5 times a day. Do not set this clock on night as the night only prevents you from waking up when the clock is ringing. -Stay awake all night.

Hands down one of the best scenarios for 2021, the plot and voice acting was absolutely fantastic. Well done!

The fact that the instability & chaos caused by Liminality effectively made the world a liminal space, BEST scenario so far. Keep it up!

I just thought about the possibility of someone absolutely HATING the Liminal Dream so much to the point they aren't affected by the normal symptoms of Liminality. I wonder how that would work? Would they be the ones who could fall asleep normally and just carry on humanity, then they can possibly find a cure for it and even stop those from experiencing it? That would be pretty lit.

My favorite broadcast has to come from the UK. The talk about how you slowly die on the inside, and with a clip from some sort of brain scan. And shortly before that clip closes it says "Why run from the inevitable?" That sounds so creepy but not as creepy as when the clips ends the broadcaster says "Thank you for your cooporation"

This is, by far, one of the greatest scenarios I've ever seen, if not all time. The voice acting is incredible, the plot is amazing, and everything escalates in a slow, yet terrifying fashion, with society slowly deteriorating, and the knock-on effects occur one after the other. To put it another way, the scenario presented, while clearly not rooted in reality, does a good job of how an abnormal, sci-fi esque problem would affect society. Additionally, using analog horror was a neat touch, and not something that I usually see in scenarios. In truth, it may be exactly the thing needed to demonstrate how this isn't a run-of-the-mill situation, or an extreme situation with a basis in reality. So, yeah, this is incredible, and this should set a new bar for us creators to meet, or attempt to reach within our means.

I missed the premiere but holy fucking shit, this scenario is GODLY, the mass amount of work and effort put into this is astonishing! Great scenario man, keep it up and can't wait to see future scenarios from you.

This is by far, one of the most original EAS scenario I've seen, nice scenario.

out of the dozens of high-effort scenarios ive seen, this one is very high on my list alongside Final Minute's Zombie virus and Thunderbuddy's absolute zero event. Very strong event peak, well-paced introduction and buildup, powerful screenplay, you ticked just about every box i can think of. very well done.

So I have a theory. The Dimensional Directory in 34:19 meant that even though the Liminality had no causes by neurotoxins, pathogen, DNA… it might be an attack from parallel universe beings that have surpassed humanity intellect. Complete loss of sanity by a single induced liminality withdrawal is definitely out of the Earth’s technology capabilities, so it is definite that such a dream is induced by something from another dimension that had hugely surpassed the Earth’s current technology. In other words, highly superstitious people can see that an otherworldly force is attacking Earth through multiple cases of liminal withdrawal. This is no mystery… *it’s an otherworldly alien attack.*

This is a terrifying thought. Liminality destroying the effects of sleep, but at the same time only sleeping for 90 minutes never allows for restful sleep… That would be a new, living hell. Fucking amazing job, man.

I was so excited for this one and had such high hopes and expectations... and all I can say is that: as usual, Electric did NOT disappoint!!! This was so freaking awesome!!! Definitely re-entered with a BANG!!!!!

As a Canadian, the Alert Ready messages gave me a fucking heart attack. Absolutely well done man!

I think the reason this seems so much more scary than other eas stories is that even with nuclear war, deadly viruses or ailen invasion stories, there is still a chance of survival. If you are isolated or sealed off, you may be okay. But we all need sleep, no matter how safe you are. So there truly is no escape from liminal dreams

Half way through and I’m legitimately impressed by the voice acting, it was genuinely unnerving to hear those people slowly slip into insanity

Stopping the dreams seems fairly straight forward: just take regular naps throughout the day and night and make sure to set a loud alarm for 1 hour and 30 minutes every time. As long as you can do that you should hopefully not get any dreams.

This was genuinely so beautiful as a scenario, this is probably your best ever work Electric, keep up the amazing scenarios!

This is surprisingly well done. Even with the inaccuracies of certain eas systems and languages, this was done with good taste. I feel like the American warnings in particular are super realistic to what the authorities would actually issue. Good job. Keep up the good work.

I'm gonna be completely honest this EAS Scenario is actually really fascinating. The storytelling, minor details, and the way that you made it feel very realistic is actually really impressive. I've already rewatched this probably already 15 times already because it's super fascinating to watch. I also really liked how you took Earthbounds Giygas theme and used it as a way to make it seem like something strange was occurring. Overall I would definitely say besides the Awakening, this Eas Scenario is spot on. ElectricFanatic you did an amazing job on this.

The Civil Warning that was broadcasted for the UK, was incredibly realistic, absolutely beautiful, if not just pissingly terrifying. Great job! But you could have made the ITN (ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5) version instead. But still perfect.

ive been a big fan of EAS scenarios for a long long time, and i love the attention to detail in this one so so much, especially the 30:22 bit.

This has gotta be one of the best EAS scenarios I’ve ever seen. So much love was put into this and it feels so real. The whole montage with physical papers on liminality victims, the worldwide news reports, the effort and detail put into each one, it genuinely feels like a movie. Absolutely incredible.

Scenarios by Eaces & The Final Minutes are amazing but damn; this scenario took me by surprise. Amazing work and i hope you can make more works like this magnificent piece.

I'm fucking speechless... This has been one of, if not THE best scenario of this year. The plot was something out of this world, and I'm sure nobody would think of doing such a story like this. I know I wouldn't. The screens were very unique. God, if only I knew how to make those. But furtherest, I really, REALLY liked it!

This is a great EAS and one of the best i have ever seen, the only thing i would say that would help make watchers feel more fear, dread and wonder would be more show and don't tell. in most parts you nailed this, with the audio clips and such. Although in parts when people say "this liminal withdrawal thing is terrifying"(23:24) it kind of breaks immersion and seems like you are trying to tell how scary it is but you already have by talking about the body's that are everywhere. To me the only times you should do this is to foreshadow events, like when you said things would be nightmarish.(Side note: i like this line because it shows how those who are chasing there dreams and are trying to make a paradise for themselves are making it hell for everyone else.) Although these are my opinions and overall you did a amazing job with this. Thank you for making this and allowing me to be scared of sleep for the last few weeks.

I would love to see this as a Plague Inc. scenario - it largely resembles a case of the neurax worm!

I really love how the “time skip” from September to October shows the news montage with the retro music instead of just fading in with “TWO WEEKS LATER” like the Awakening (no offense, the awakening is also a masterpiece)

this might be the only eas scenario that has actually scared me. i suffer from depression and anxiety, and the desire for a sort of "paradise" really spoke to me. i also really liked the breaks in some broadcasts where it shows what a liminal dream may look like and promoting the dreams. and overall, the diversity in the content in the video (the tapes, police encounters, the actual eas warnings) is great. this was done exceptionally well

i started watching analog horrors when i was 11/12 and have been addicted since. this one was really good and made liminal spaces / backrooms even scarier than they already are!! Great job on this

I often watch ur EAS scenarios and love it with harvester's work actually. Liminality is just too good. Voice acting, scenes for EAS, news frames etc. its quite fine work done here. Narrative was quite good with voice overs but maybe scenario itself could be better if i give 8.5/10 it could be 9.5/10 easily with some tweaks. excellent execution of assets, especially with liminal dreams side. Hope to see even better scenarios in 2022!

Honestly as someone who has played a TON of backrooms games and one who has had Liminal dreams before (No i dont have liminal withdrawl... relax peeps), I actually kinda got spooked at 34:18. This is really interesting in the effects, the quick cut to the backrooms image, and the way the notice is presented. And honestly this looks so real. Fantastic work, Man!!!

Only just about at the Russian alert right now, and let me just say i am in LOVE with this scenario. This is a strong, unique idea with excellent execution. EAS scenarios, when following premises beyond the scope of our reality, can tend to have certain pitfalls where they become complete asspulls and lose the interest of some viewers- but not this scenario. This scenario has been able to develop logical development of how such a far-flung concept becomes a global anomalous event. This is all without even mentioning how cool Liminal Spaces (which I also have a love for) can be- the idea of empty, nostalgic spaces that feel comforting and better than reality, while at the same time having an uncanny uneasiness about them. As others have pointed out, this feels like a blend between EAS creation and Analog Horror. These two genres have had a fair amount of overlap before, and it usually works pretty well. Personally, I don't think you could create a scenario for Liminal Spaces WITHOUT including some sort of Analog Horror elements, due in part to the uneasy nature of liminal spaces that I had previously mentioned. This is easily top 3 scenarios that I've watched this year, and I'm watching it right on New Year's Eve. And damn, I'm kinda upset I didn't think about this. What a fun video this must have been to make!

This scenario is the best one this year. It does bear a similarity like Sleepless from ThePhoenixFire, where they should not fall under REM sleep or they will become monsters. But this one is next level. I tried making scenarios like these, with incredible VHS efect but limited software and experience meant i cannot match yours, it is incredible.

Awesome work! It really messes with one's mind in a way I've not seen done yet, personally.

I love how society never completely broke down. There was always just that fraction that could survive. It honestly makes it more horrifying then if it just wiped us out.

Watched this late at night and had my TV on at the time, and at the same time a EAS test popped up on my tv at the same time as an alert in this scenario. Scary but really good.

Having my sleeping schedule always fucked up and trying to recover from that often by not sleeping, I can exactly imagine how people might feel when they're advised only to sleep for 90 seconds. This scenario is somehow so much creepier than anything classic like zombie apocalypse or alien invasion. Not the hyper-advanced species, not the mutual assured destruction, no fantasy monsters. Just your own nature. Your own need to rest and regain energy, that slowly, but surely, kills an entire human species.
