EAS Scenario: And Then There Was Silence

SYNOPSIS: For the purposes of the scenario, I'm not going to explain much and just let the video explain itself. Just know that it involves what happens when something is confused as something else.
Take note that this video isn't a part of any timeline, and is instead just a self-contained video.
Like always, any criticism is appreciated.
Please note that none of this is actually occurring. There is no reason to panic. If you choose to use this video as a prank, you do so at your own risk. I hold no responsibility for your actions. I love how you use actual voice acting rather than just TTS! Adds a great deal of authenticity to these scenarios and sets a high bar for immersion! If you want me to read lines in a future scenario, just let me know!

I haven't gotten chills like this from a scenario since Broken Arrow! You really know how to make an unnerving atmosphere in these videos from the story to sound production. That ending really caught me off guard!

Your story was unique and creative. Wellington, Colorado would be hit with debris and to a lesser degree so would Greeley. I used to drive for a living and have been to both towns many times. Still one of the better EAS videos I have watched.

I really enjoyed this. however one thing. I think the sound effects were a bit over used in some places. Hearing gunshots during what is supposed to be a speech given by someone in a supposedly secure location just doesn't fit as right as hearing them during live/on the scene reporting.

Where did you generate the telephony tones? And was their a reason you sequenced them in the same order? Also, what were did the coded messages mean? Sounds like they were similar to numbers station transmissions (which is creepier considering FUNC is civilian?), and would have no means to decipher them.

The first of the sequences was effectively a message to Chinese sleeper agents to, "Prepare to activate your contingencies, we may be about to engage in a global thermonuclear war." The second of the sequences is a coded EAM message authorizing a nuclear response by the United States, which is only barely stopped.

Welcome to the world of EAS Mocks mate. There isn't a need to take such a niche community so seriously. To even find content like this you have to go out and look for it and I doubt a little kid would ever do so. + I'd think a rational adult would turn on the news or their local station and double check.
