Catherine. An ice cream scoop is wonderful to use to drop your batter in the those muffin tins. I have two different sizes to accommodate the muffin tins I’m using. I make mini muffins and use a smaller ice cream scooper and get 24 muffins or more. Each one is less calories and so nice to serve for a breakfast buffet. 😋 Freezes well too. Great for quick snack for my family. Great easy recipe. Thanks.
Yes I also think that’s a great ideal.. A friend told me that I should spray the scooper lightly that way the batter can come out easier. I have not tried it yet but thinking about it.
I've been peeling bananas like this since I was a kid! Took lots of teasing over it (I'm old!) But knew the stem is the last part that ripens and provides a handle for kids to eat them. So glad to see this. My husband can't say I'm crazy anymore! I've made this ame recipe with lemon cake and blueberries and bananas. Especially at the end of blueberry season . Frozen blueberries work just as well! Katherine, you recipes and family are both amazing!
I love your channel! I was going to try to make homemade a banana bread but this seems easier. Also, I know you have done a Q and A before..will you be doing anymore in the future? Also, I really hope your channel grows, your cooking channel is my favorite!!!
I can't tell you what perfect timing you have! I had bananas that I've been smelling all day and a box of cake mix that expires next month. The muffins are currently in the oven and smell amazing! I used chocolate chips since that's what I had in the house but will try this recipe with the nuts another time. Super easy and quick!
I make these but with only 2 ingredients, no eggs. They are delicious. U can also make pumpkin muffins using Yellow cake mix or spice cake mix & one can of pumpkin. Try with any cake mix u can think of
This look easy and delicious! I'd use a spice cake mix with walnuts and miniature chocolate chips in mine. Cinnamon, walnuts, and chocolate make a superb banana bread or banana muffin.
Really like how easy these are to make! Add ins are always a must. Making muffins are great to freeze and pull out whenever you need a “ banana bread” fix!👍😋🍌🍌

A Christmas morning tradition my family had was making banana bread then toasting it in the oven for breakfast on Christmas morning. Definitely going to try these; they'd be great to pop into my lunchbox and take to work for my morning snack.

I've tried many of your recipes and I love the way you explain how to. I find it so much easier than reading new recipes. I've been using Pillsbury Quick banana bread mix. It already is banana flavored but I add 2 over ripe bananas to it. I used to make them from scratch but the mix makes it so much easier. Keep up the wonderful videos we all love.

I saw the notification for this video the other day but then it disappeared. 😑 But I knew it would show up again. 🤗 I started putting ripened bananas in the freezer years ago because I sometimes didn't feel like baking when they were ripe. And I learned how to peel a banana upside down more recently and I like how they come out clean. 😊 I'm anxious to try this recipe because I love using cake mixes in recipes. And as always, this is so quick and easy and the muffins will come together in no time. 😁 Of course, like pumpkin, I don't care for chocolate chips in my banana either. But the nuts are a given in both! 🥳 Thanks for sharing another great recipe! 🥰

I aq sorry but I cannot watch your coking videos anymore. I watched a video of the pumpkin, monkey bread. I had questions about using 100% pumkin,k spices and pumpkin puree. My major question was about how many ounces of the pumpkin WHATEVER you used. To this day, I still do not know! I think that you are an awesome cook and I love your videos. You've always got the best ideas. It never occurred to me to use a cake mix and it's so much easier I can see that. I generally keep a couple of yellow cake mixes around so guess what I'm doing the next time I get bananas? Yum! God bless you, Shirley.
I tried the banana peeling trick and there are strings either way you peel it. I may try these. Your monster cookies were so good I’m sure these muffins will be as well. I like mini chips in mine.
