Hope you didn't use the lotion and the BHA solution at the same time. A regular lotion is needed instead of the SA lotion. That's too much exfoliation.
careful guys that might ruin your skin if you have any skin issue. This is a routine for people who have strong and perfectly healthy and good skin already
@@turkeywithafishheadsmokinw7056 If you have rosacea or any skin sensitivity, exfoliation can put you into much more trouble. Very low % of BHA once a week is ok to begin with and then you can build up according to your skin’s tolerance. But going straight away into multiple exfoliating products daily will damage your already troubled skin barrier and it will only cause longer term issues
@@thanospappas3816hello, so basically if I’m having seb derm and my skin tends to get oily throughout the day. Should I just use a cleanser and moisturizer that has SPF and that’s all?
1. Don’t exfoliate every day. Exfoliate two to three times a week 2. Using an spf over 50 will make your skin whiter with way more protection than necessary
@@thomasshelby985 absolutely not. Exfoliation basically Removes ur topmost skin cells and if u do tht quicker than they can renew the cells it’s gonna be bad.
1. Don’t exfoliate everyday, save it to 2-3x/week at night! 2. never double up on salicylic acid. 3. When it’s daytime or not exfoliation night, use a regular serum instead (cleanse, serum, moisturizer). Glad you made the effort to show guys how to take care of their skin tho. Hopefully my CC was helpful for you
@@Mr.Flame1013 basically stick to 1 product with salicylic acid bc it can be irritating and also one product can already do wonders like if it’s in a serum. 2) it’s better to use at night bc you’re skin can get more out of it during the night and also you’re skin light not be able to take the uv rays while exfoliation just happened.
@@isiahpaskins do I still use the exfoliant even if I’m using the Cerve Acne Cleanser and Retnol serum at night also I’m thinking of switching the Cerve SA lotion to regular Cerve moisturizer
As a doctor, loved your AM skincare routine however I wanna add that this is bit more oily acne prone skincare routine. Also for the PM I would add retinoids.
I have combo skin, what products should I use? because i bought a skincare pack for oily skin and been using it for 3 days but its making the area around my nose burn like crazy
I used to spend a ton of money on face product for dark spot and acne , I started using antibacterial soap on my face then follow with apple cider vinegar leave it on 10 m then rinse off and follow with árgan oil , my face is so clean and light it’s wonderful!! But everyone does what works best for them
1. Salycilic acid is an exfoliating ingredient DO NOT use it everyday unless you want irritation and redness all over your face (3 times a week tops) 2. Spf 30 will do fine its not necessary to go as high as 60. 3. NEVER SKIP MOISTURISER
I'm 26 and I love being outside. Plus I work in landscaping so I'm constantly getting hit by the sun, I feel like I'm actually starting to look a little old. Hopefully this can help me
My entire skin care routine is plunging my face In ice water in the morning, then a moisturizer, then at night I’ll wash my face, then either add retinol every other night, or just wash my face and go to bed. I wonder if this is a good system, anything I can add or change. My biggest concern is I have to shave almost everyday. I grow a full beard so fast, but I want to just have a clean smooth face with no stubble, is it still safe to put on retinol after shaving? And how do I stop the bumps I get from shaving? I mainly get them under my chin, or along my jawline.
Sunscreen is literally the most necessary and important part of skincare. Use everyday for UV index of 3 and up. Sunscreen will only protect you for 2 hours so you have to reapply every 2 hrs.
When do i do this? Likee what time of day… im sorry but im very mich new to this i have absolutely no idea how to even start… do i do skincare when i wake up or when im done with my day..?
Dont touch ur face, take care of ur hair because if dandruff falls on ur forehead it causes breakouts and stuff, dont over moisturize, ice ur face in the morning, use lemon and water if u wanna know how to ice ur face search it up on yt and if u wanna know the lemon and water hack search that up too on yt
So much wrong with this 😫 you definitely don’t want to use salicylic acid every day unless you want to damage your skin barrier… also when you choose to exfoliate with BHA in your toner step you shouldn’t use a lotion that also contains salicylic acid, it could irritate your skin, damage your skin barrier and cause more acne!
@@__boot959 She's talking about the lotion. The lotion has Salicylic Acid. Which is bad cuz he already has the Paula's Choice BHA solution to exfoliate. He should be using a regular lotion instead.
@@ahahahahah9082 No, way too harsh. Only 1-3 times a week depending on your skin type and concerns and make sure to moisturize enough cuz it can dry your skin out
@@jaysibiri this exfoliant you can use every other day. If you wanna learn more abt how often to exfoliate you can watch a vid on that this is just a short quick one simplified bruh
Sorta, if you already have eye bags then spf is just there to make sure it doesn’t get sunburnt. If your trying to get rid of eye bags go for a moisturizer without exfoliating property’s to it and apply under the eye and on top (don’t get it in your eye though)
