I so love slow drying monomer. Lots of people freak out though because of that dispersion layer. I remember what you said and ran my hands under warm water and it worked like a charm. I wish people would quit bashing slow setting monomer......it is so worth not having to smell it! People need to learn how to use it properly before making bad comments about it! Thanks Suzie for the great video! 💜💙💚💛🧡💗

Suzie, I tried to apply acrylic for the first time yesterday, and oh boy.... I prepped like usual. Pushed back the cuticle, trimmed, filed, roughed up the nail surface, removed oils with isopropyl. I used regular acrylic, white tips, and your counting technique. I think I used too little monomer for my beads. I kept drying my brush out of fear my bead would be too runny. I am not sure though. I also think my beads were too large as the acrylic was super thick after curing. I didn't have any issues controlling the bead but it dried fast. I'll have to find some slow set acrylic. During finishing, I am ashamed to admit I was too lazy to get my professional drill from my beauty room. I used a cheap electric. So I had a super thick nail and the texture was not perfectly smooth, even after filing. Afterward I used a regular clear coat. I was so disappointed that I finally went and got my drill file and filed down and soaked to remove the acrylic. I am going to keep trying as I don't back down from challenges easily, but I would love to see a video from you maybe with false fingers to see what not to do. Knowing what the mistakes look like would help me a lot. If you can't get around to it I understand! Thanks for reading!

Hi Ryan's mom Sam here.... I have watched you for years now and because of watching you I can now do my own nails I'm good at applying the acrylic and doing designs but my biggest problem is keeping them on they pop off after a few days 🙄 I do my prep properly I think but they still pop off and so I just stick them down with either nail glue or a bit of acrylic and then they will stay on for about a couple of weeks but it doesn't take much for them to pop off again🤨🤨 so a video about prepping your nails for acrylic would be a massive help to me 😃😁 love ya Susie xx
@NailCareerEducation

Hi Ryans mom- yes prep is so important- make sure yr not washing yr hands before you prep - oils from soap can interfere with adhesion- also file with a low grit- like 180 no finer
