Apple Turnover Recipe:
🔶 1 Package Frozen Pastry Dough
🔶 3 Apples
🔶 2 - 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
🔶 1 - 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
🔶 1 - 2 Tsp Cinnamon
🔶 1 egg (for egg wash)
🔶 Pinch of Salt
🔹 Step 1.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees then prep apples.
🔹Step 2.
Cut Apples into small dice.
🔹 Step 3.
Add all ingredients to bowl and then add salt, cinnamon, brown sugar, lemon juice.
🔹 Step 4.
Remove half of the defrosted pastry dough from package. Dust lightly with flour and roll out any of the folds or perforation.
🔹 Step 5.
Fold the dough in half then cut where line is. Do this again until you have 4 perfect squares. Gently add 1-2 Tbsp of the filling and fold over and pinch. Once you have done this to all the turnovers place them on baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a fork to crimp the edges. Now brush the egg wash over turnovers and make 2-3 slits on top. Place in oven and cook for 18 - 20 minutes.
