Bro, y u starting this snow ball, now people r going to write fake news about it, and children r going to read the fake stuff and think it's true😢 U should talk to people that actually live in the war and not tell stories from the news (which u say that r biased, btw) Go look for photos of hostages, and hear some stories from families that their children murdered by hamas And btw, Israel and the USA send soport to people in gaza, but hamas steal it and they to kill who ever try to fight it
If there is nothing else about SJB you like you should at the very least like how open minded he is. Really want to help with the awareness and trying to get more info and have and open discussion. For SJB specifically keep up the work man. You always bring a smile to my face, and I love watching your strats. You can be weird at times but I love that you lean into than shy away. It's helped me be more okay with my weirdness. To the rest of the fans don't forget to use the Creator Support Code SJB he deserves it.
Quick clarification, Hamas didn't start anything. This dates back to post WW2 when the Palestinian people were first displaced. Look up the 'Nakba'. This all happened before Hamas was even a thing
i was just about to comment about this but yeah, Chris is right, he chose to be neutral when knowing that the media has hidden agenda. but even without knowing that, or which side is right (or, as he said, less wrong). seeing a literal genocid33 happening there, like bro? maybe in the media there really blocked footage and evident of the act? idk, but yeah, if they didn't, i think Chris will know which side to pick
Your point that the government is not really doing things that reflect what their constituents want is definitely true. How is your average citizen supposed to influence policy if the people they vote for do not represent them? Historicity in the U.S. disruption, like we see today, has been used frequently and has proved effective. We romanticize the Boston Tea party but get mad at college students today for occupying public spaces.
@inutamer365 "least lethal" in total numbers? Totality is a terrible metric, but your entire sentiment there is utterly terrible. Let's look at the statistics about the casualties. 2/3 of the people killed in Gaza have been women and children. Over half of the population is under 18 to begin with, but the indiscriminant bombing and lack of resources (not to mention direct killings by the IDF) has decimated especially those who would bring up and be the next generations. Noah Samsen has a pretty simply explained video on the Geneva Convention and the many ways that Israel has violated international law. If you ignore everything said up there, the ICJ trial's mere existence proves the worldwide contention over this war and this genocide. It's not "some kids making it up". Your denial is gross in itself, but the apparent lack of empathy really makes it disgusting.
"oooh, another video about a gimmicky strategy in my favourite tower defence game!" *gets barraged with a political talk* Keep doing that. Screw the youtube algorithm
For chimps my strongest combo is. Sauda, Prince of Darkness (will have around round 62), Moab Domination (will have around 83), 4-0-1 Alchemist, and a 4-2-0 monkey village, on some cases you can get the monkey village tier 5 on round 92 ish. Usually wins on any map on chimps but depends on map layout tbh. Very strong strat, highly recommend it!
Just finished black border on every beginner map, got to get started on the intermediates now, I expect it to be a lot harder, doing it on beginner was just grindy, think the only time I had to restart was when I got distracted and came back to being dead on round 87 with a boatload of money
I'm halfway through Intermediates, it gets easier as you go, both because you get better and (more importantly), the most recent diffculty- creeped) maps are first in the order
@@sohaibm1617Then extreme maps like workshop exist. Man let me tell you, I love this game, but only having 1 way to beat it, makes me cringe. Give me alternations, let me use a variety of towers...
@@Graceclaw water park aint that hard poly is also not hard there is a lot of good spots to put towers in those maps and also snipers are good in water park if you place them in tower
I just want to say that i think its super awesome for you to slip topics like this(controversial or not!)into bloon videos!! Not only is it simultaneously entertaining to both watch and listen to, but i feel like its very beneficial aswell!! Also, thanks alot for the super easy chimp guide!! Iv watched alot of other bloon videos of other youtubers and alot of them have been super complicated and require literally having to write down the strategy inorder to use it, but this one i can easily just remember!!
Much respect for using your channel to spark an honest and open discussion about pressing issues like the ongoing genocide-and giving sound Bloons tips while you’re at it. Thanks YT algorithm for bringing me here!
The problem with protests are they don't work anymore, dyou really think the government or military are looking at protests and thinking ' oh no this hinders our plans!!!!!'? No they're doing the Jeremy Clarkson meme of 'oh no, anyway"
There have been a few syncronycities with conversations and relevant topics I've been a part of lately and this goes directly along with the nature of this world and who controls the systems...
I've seen clips of the protests at the universities where the students refuse to say anything to any news reporter. Now it makes more sense why. Sometimes silence is better. Also sick btd 6 vid.
That was a fairly well put point. Being that both are wrong. While one was in self defense, least at first things have gone to far. Both are genocidal. Neither want the other to exist
Different protest types can have different goals. If you ask people who participate in stopping traffic, they know people aren’t going to like them. They do it for the attention it brings to their cause, and to give people a slight idea of an inconvenience in their life compared to the experience of the people they are protesting for. I.e. getting stuck in traffic vs getting forcibly removed from you house or bombed
That's all fine and dandy until the protests cause the deaths of innocent bystanders like what happened with the climate protests in the UK, where their protesting prevented an ambulance from getting someone to hospital to get the care they needed.
i really didn’t understand his whole point. it’s also a bummer that he never mentioned what they were protesting about. if you’re going to talk about a political topic (protesting) why wont you mention the thing they’re protesting about? i just don’t understand why he even mentioned this in the first place if his points is just blatant entitlement.
Hey Chris. I appreciate your input on the situation in Gaza. I appreciate you calling it a genocide. So if you want a quick rundown of the events that’s pretty historically accurate, I recommend looking into Noam Chomsky. But just a few things I wanted to tell you as someone who’s researched the conflict. For one, I don’t really think Hamas started it per say, they did launch an attack on Israelis October 7th, but a) the Israeli government has admitted it knew about the attack already and b) people in Gaza were generally living in what was called(by amnesty international) an open air prison, something like 95% of the water was undrinkable, half the population is under 18, most of them are starving too. And generally it was a horrible situation. So nothing about what Hamas did is necessarily justified by this, but I can understand why they might’ve lashed out rather foolishly. But this issue is almost a century in the making, and, well, basically, after ww2 where many Jewish refugees were created, the western powers chose to support the ideology called “Zionism”, founded by a guy named Theodore Herzl. This movement was more of a fringe movement than representative of Jewish people, because it advocated for the creation of a majority (ethnically) Jewish state, in what land is ancestrally Jewish. And that is basically saying, Jewish people should have an ethnostate acquired via settler colonialism. Where America and the west more broadly comes in, is that they basically unequivocally back Israel for the power it allots them in the region. Anyways, the project of israel basically started by removing Palestinians from their homes and moving Zionist settlers into the spaces they used to occupy, while taking structural power from the already poorer country with western backing. The best example of this is the 1948 Nakba, as well as other ethnic cleansing campaigns in Israel’s history. Additionally worth noting, Hamas, a militant group basing its resistance off Islamic principles, was originally funded by the Israeli state as an opposition to the secular resistance movements(like the PLO). So the conflict really did not begin with Hamas, it’s been ongoing since the 40s at least. If you’re interested in learning more, the RU-vidr Badempanada has done some seriously scholarship on the issue, as has Historian Norman Finkelstein. Hopefully this was informative and not just ramblings.
Personally I don't look at or pay attention to the news. I go about my day to day life pretty much in a bubble to be honest. And I'm happy with that decision so far.
I think it's kinda cool you're able to talk about politics and other stuff that might stir up controversy. Me personally, I don't really care about politics because I am like where I know I am going to go against someone's opinion.
I think the biggest thing of any successful protest is that it remains peaceful and civil. This is super hard to do, especially the longer they go on bc people will become more and more agitated, leading to the potential of violence. But the most successful protester of all time, MLK, specifically made sure that violence played no part in it.
In my humble opinion, the issue with protests today isn’t the average protester, it’s the fact more poorly representative protesters are going to more protests
Hey sjb, i play this game kinda rare nowadays but i still like to watch some of your videos from time to time and this kind of commentaries are the best, dont be afraid to express your opinions on things like this, if someone decides to unsubscribe or smth because of commentary like this your probably better off such audience. I would even encourage to form stronger opinions on whatever side you choose to take and have spicier discussions :)).
10:58 Here's how I see it, is gaza has been quite literally forced to fight their way out of their land. They've been given this tiny piece of land that's been shrinking over decades due to Israel's army, and so now they have no chance but to fight back.
This got Deep Bro, but I think you are right. This is a sticky situation, but if you are going to complain, don't piss people off that you need on your side. Sorry to all those who lost out on graduation ceremonies because of hostile protests.
One of my favorite main-DPS towers is the Commanche Commander. However, with the MOAB damage nerfs it got, I'm not quite sure how well it fairs for my strategy now. I did recently complete Balance on CHIMPS with Bloon Solver, Icicle Impale, and Pre-Emptive strike as my main towers. Also, on the Israel/Palestine protests, I used to be pro-Israel. However, after learning about the war crimes and crap that both sides have done, I'm now neutral. If there's no right answer, then I don't want to be wrong. Neutrality is probably the best bet for that sort of scenario.
love the videos but the info on Israel is definitely a bit off, not gonna start a war here because i love the channel just a little triggered on the info being wrong. its great you have a open mind and can talk about almost anything and make it entertaining , but that's a topic worth investigating before speaking on.
Him calling it a war between two evils is a surface level take, but at least I don’t think it means he is directly pro Israel or that he likes the oppression of Palestinian people
From what I guess, He is main thing is against the violence. Seeing the October attack as escalation to total war, but also isn't completely oblivious to the humanitarian crisis as to why he acknowledged the oppression. One way to inteperate what he said I suppose.
I feel like you really weren't all that controversial in this video, everything you said had both merit and heart to it. I respect you so much for taking the chance on putting your opinion out there on this, it is most certainly a dangerous thing to do especially considering your career could crumble over it which is unfortunate. but overall it's a great video and we love you ❤
I'm not really going to address any of the stuff you said about Israel and Hamas specifically because I'm not really equipped to. However, regarding protesting, you have an incorrect assumption that successful protests in the past had widespread public support. That is simply not the case. Every major political movement that got their demands met through protesting was or is HATED by many people. It is not the case that the vast majority of the public was on the side of the black civil rights protestors doing sit-ins at white-only restaurants, for example. In fact, they used the exact same "you aren't protesting THE RIGHT WAY" rhetoric that I think you have fallen into here. We do not need to simply agree with what any given group wants simply because they're protesting for it, but by hating who they are without even listening to what they're saying in the first place, you really just play right into the hands of the media you said is selling you a particular narrative, whether intentionally or not.
They just answered that in the original comment. Yes. Progress can, has, and will be made through protests, with a lot of public support or not. Be it on things such as the climate crisis, human rights, or whatever one fights for. It is always nice to have everyone in agreement with you and your cause as a protester, but then there shouldn't be a problem to get through changes, right? If you are "protesting" in a friendly manner through "correct" channels then you would more easily get through changes, yea? No. You forget that before people take to the streets and protest because most other tactics has already been tried. People appeal to politicians and civil society, people campaign and speak up on important issues, people get relevant educations and work in relevant fields, volunteer for a better life and planet. But when none of that works, when you are still left ignored, then what other option do you have that do make people see you and your demands? Make people listen? The friendly approach has been tried again and again. It is still being tried by many, every day. But it's not enough. That is why many take to the streets in protest. It is also important to ask yourself, especially in cases where violence and disorder breaks out, who instigated the violence and disorder and why? History shows us many cases where it is not the protesters, but cops and anti-protesters that instigate violence in order to skew the publics perception of protesters. This only goes back to what you said about the news. One has to be critical of what one reads. But also, critical of what you yourself believe and why.
I think the biggest issue (both sides do bad) is Hamas has a charter, it's similar to how we have a constitution, and within that they say how they will never believe 1. in a cease fire and 2. Until all the Jews are dead. Israel bombing civilians is horrible and tragic, but how to you have peace with a group that wants you dead no matter what
My strongest combo is Hero: Sauda o quency Magic monkey 0-2-5 Druid 2-5-0 Shredder 2-5-0 Practilly I can spot camouflage bloons with the magic monkey, druid and Shredder destroy everything
oh cool, i wanted to relax listening to btd6 content and completely out of nowhere i have to listen to some dude sympathizing with ch1ld murderers and acting like both sides are bad.
Random internet dweller's 2 cents: Hamas is far from ideal, which is sad because it's Gaza's only real form of retaliation against assault that has left over ~34,500 people dead as of this comment's writing and a major amount of Gaza totally destroyed with presumably hundreds of thousands of injured and otherwise suffering people [I want to bring the fact Hamas is not tantamount to all of Gaza to the forefront for this one by the way]. Protesters are unfortunately probably going to protest in whichever way they want to regardless of if they disturb someone or not. However there's a lot of people with 'out of sight, out of mind, I stand for nothing except I think that what inconveniences me shouldn't be there' mentalities which is what partially owes to counterprotests. I don't really want to change people's minds so I won't go further on this. With all that said, a Chris video is a Chris video, so that at least is nice.
mm i think that the thing with talking about "2 wrongs" is that israel were doing what they are doing now for decades, obviously this time it's the most striking but it's nothing new if you as much as look up the list of israel's list of crimes through the years, i mean its still a complicated situation and normally I would not advocate for specific sides but for this one, at least for me, its kinda evident
I agree with the fact that the way people protests makes them being hated by the average citizen, but for winning a protest you don't have just to be liked, you have to be the better offerer. Let's make an example with made up names and numbers: Frank is the one in charge, with his politicies the average citizen gets 10. Carl is the leader of the protest and he says that people should get 20. Carl protests in the peacefull, legally way. Excluding bad propaganda made by Frank to reduce Carl's reputation, people do like Carl, but noone is really putting effort to put him on charge, why do i say this? By supporting Frank, the people are sure to get that 10, if they support Carl and he loses, they might lose that little they have and so they are scared to support him. The protest is useless. Carl, for taking power, should make people NEED him. How? By blocking the money/good influx towards who support Frank, and so, being the one giving them the most or the only one giving something. He then is the better offerer, and people will support him. if enought people NEEDS him, he'll be enought strong to depose Frank or Force him to do what Carl wants. Moral? If you're legally allowed to protests, it means that it's not a treat to the one in charge. Sorry if i made some grammar mistakes, english is not my native language.
Day 11! All stun team, Psi/Pat, Moab Dom, Top path cannon, any glue freeze, top path sniper, top path mortar, top path Druid, super monkey w/knockback, ninja with distraction/flashbomb, engineer with pin.
SJB, i really hope you read this. i thank you for welcoming opinions. the notion that Hamas “started” it is reductive - yes, violence is violence, aggression is aggression and war of any kind is terrible, and one could call them extremists. people don’t question WHY hamas is doing what they’re doing. because it hasn’t just been this year, or the last year, of this issue starting. the israel-palestine conflict has been around since the 1918s, when the British took control of Palestinian territory for Israel settlers. What happened throughout the history was Israel arming themselves and essentially kicking Palestinians out of their own settlement. by 1948, Israel’s military forces displaced 750 thousand Palestinians and took over 78 percent of Palestine. by 1967, 300 thousand more were displaced. it has been YEARS and DECADES of this treatment, of violence and ethnic cleansing and displacement. October’s Hamas’ attack was NOT unprovoked, and while i am never one for war and killings of innocents, why have no one made it as pressing of an issue as it is now when Palestinians have been undergoing it for so long? also i cannot agree that you can’t “figure out” who’s the lesser evil / less wrong (in your words), because if you were to see news, it’s Israel bombing hospitals, it’s a genocide and murder of children and innocent, injured people. it’s Israel promising a ceasefire and breaking it by murdering people who went to get food supplies. it’s Israel attacking Rafah after they specifically promised safety there, before announcing they were mass-bombing that region, essentially confining Palestinian INNOCENTS there. not even the Hamas extremists, it’s CITIZENS being told to evacuate there and then being murdered. just bring up the amount of Palestinians being murdered each day from last year to now. it’s an ethnic cleansing, not just “kinda” genocide. if we want to talk about lesser evils, then Israel’s number on Palestine far outweighs Hamas’. they bombed HOSPITALS. l
i love these episodes where you just talk and play a simple game. other bloon ytubers would just slap on a mod, laugh and yell the whole time and be annoying. I love just playing bloons or other games and listening you switch between talking about the game and topics that nobody else wants to touch
