How to break up the pace really easily! I basically rediscovered something I knew a few years ago. You can use the terrain to break up the pace!
Sure ground poles work well, but you know what works even better? Tall grass (or water or snow).
Not every one has tall grass, but most people have access somewhere.
You have to remember to train head down first, but then start using the tall grass to fix those pacey horses! Remember to stop and praise when you get some nice steps!
