Most pointless waste of time trophy in any game ever! It's completely ridiculous

Get a fire truck drive to vercetti mansion. Turn on fire truck mission. drive the truck thru the doorway. Counts as puttting fire out. Drve it back out turn around and repeat. I am not sure the exact amount you need but a guy did it up to level 176 and got $85 mill and got the title. I was 50% thru the game got to level 200 was at 134 mill and when I hopped out the truck I got the title. This was done on 11/17/23

I remember getting this trophy on PS4 (PS2 classics). That was 1000000 points. The most time wasting trophy in gaming history.

Why didn't they remove this stupid trophy. What is the point of this trophy. There are a lot of stupid grind trophies but this isn't "normal" grinding. There is no way you can get this in a normal playthrough. And this is the point.

Has there been an update that stops this exploitation? Because after I complete this mission the first time, I get a second reduced when touching a checkpoint.

I can confirm that doing the Cone Crazy alone 19 times on the Definitive Edition gets you this trophy without having to shoot anything. You have to collect the final checkpoint the first 7 times with 0 seconds left. After the 7th time, you have to collect the final checkpoint by adding an additional second than the previous time. (Ex: Collect the final checkpoint on the 8th attempt with 1 second left. Collect the final checkpoint on the 9th attempt with 2 seconds left…etc.) If you are struggling, you can gently move the cones around before collecting the checkpoints. That makes it so much easier.

So many achievements 😫, also hidden packages aren't difficult to get at all as long as you have a photo guide that you can mark up once you collect a package. Literally got all 100 as soon as I reached the third island

Unless I see you unlock it in a video I’m not attempting it because it’s all way too time consuming, crazy how I can’t play for more than an hour without these games crashing but they can manage to patch glitches that help with the most abysmal trophy ever

With the patch from last night (Nov. 19th) you only need 100K criminal rating‼️

I tired the fire truck mansion truck and it worked. Get the fire truck start the mission and just go in and out of Tommy’s mansion too around less than a hour for me to get it.

Just got patched, i loaded the game after updating and it popped up. Finally got the Platinum Trophy.

My Accuracy is going up. But My Criminal Rating isnt moving. What should i do? Edited: It works. Just shoot 102 Bullet and not 100. If 100 bullet fired, it doesn't count. Follow the YTber words and not the screen he showed. 102 Bullet fired.

Shame Rockstar didn't take achieving the perfect gaming series seriously.

There is a new method for defenitive edition if you just play cone crazy if you do the method by getting the certain number of seconds and reach the certain amount of money you will get godfather rank and the trophy pops up

So can you do it all then save it, then come back to it and load the save file when it’s fixed to get it to pop? I’m on gta 3 at moment but may do this over night before I start vice city

is it still working? i did every step like you said but im gaining very very little by Shooting the yacht.. is that normal?

NOTE: On console, maybe this is just for PS4, but there was no option to switch to fidelity mode for me, but you don't have to. You can jump through the gate anyway. Just takes time.

got the accomplishment in literally 30 minutes (Cone Crazy took me 20 mins) and after firing at the yacht for around 2 minutes I got it, only 100k now apparently

Can anyone confirm this can be done on 100% game? I only have stunt jumps left until 100% and around 700k$. Can I just go do the cone crazy method until it pops or do I need to start a new game ?

So if it’s patched I can get this just by completing the game?

Ive just got to Godfater after only 110k points using this method. I think they also reduced the requirement. New game file, done the cone crazy bug, got a police boat and shot the yacht for about 45 mins. Trophy popped.

Can we do this on the orginal gta vice city ?

I don’t know where else to put this but I found a glitch that lets you shoot any gun as fast as the minigun The only sad thing is that it depends on the magazine size and you can only do it after a phone call and maybe only if you have the laser sniper (but that’s easy to get if you go to the one place it spawns) I did it by accident when I was exiting a phone call because I wanted to zoom in on some amazing textures (because I actually like this game unlike everyone else even though they’re still here for some reason) I held the switch weapons button and it went into slow mo which I think is what makes it work then you just quickly switch to the sniper and use the scope Then when he fully puts the phone away it switches back to the gun you had before the phone call and it switches your laser sniper scope into the normal sniper scope and your fire rate is as fast as the mini gun That’s why I think you need the laser sniper but I haven’t tried it with the normal one so maybe it still works that way Again this could be a glitch that existed before but It’s just easier because of the slow mo weapon wheel

The problem is, it doesn't go over the shot fired, in my game is: shots fired 3000 shots hit 3000 It ain't like yours (I'm on the classic pc version tho, I beat the game and wanted to try this one out)

Does anyone know if they lowered the numbers for this? I got the butcher trophy when I logged on today just from playing the game normally.

The trophy is bugged. I was using my original save game with the main game completed. Cone Crazy method its far more difficult. If you have the 100 hidden packages, just take the army heli and start the vigilante mission. Stay near the base as the bad guys will spawn always at the same position. Just kill them repeatedly. You will soon enough also get the 6 wanted stars which will result in military present at the streets. Be careful for choppers from time to time. Shoot them down then proceed killing the bad guys. Many of them will die from crashing into army tanks. 30 minutes or so you will have more then 10 million dollars. But then again, here is my personal experience for the rating. Last night, I bugged my controller and let the Sparrow shoot destroyed car for almost 7 hours. The result was ONLY 100 criminal rating points. Before that I started a new game and tried the method with Cortez's yacht. Shooting with police boat resulted in accuracy 0, shots fired like 1000, shots counted ZERO. I will personally start to grind GTA III and SA for Platinum trophies and put Vice City aside until the devs fix the bugs. If they fixed them...

Update: Ps4 Slim: It doesn't work, the trophies are still broken, after getting 1M points they didn't give me the Trophy. ; /

OK Guys whe must do 101 bullets and then do the steps with the Police both. When you not doing 101 bullets your Criminal Rating is not going upstairs

Have a better solution than this take the firetruck drive to tge big mansion after kill Diaz the vet guy u take the firetruck start the extinguisher mission in front of the open door and drive in and out all the time with the firetruck get your firetruck level every time increase so if you reach level 150 it tooks maybe 40 to min 50 without stress so until your criminal ranking 100.000 for the godfather

What the “natural” non bugged way to get the godfather rank? Is it supposed to be just the 10 million and a lot of kills?

I just found that on Xbox this achievement is now 0.01%. Quite sure it was 0% 2 days ago so someone actually unlocked Take the Cannoli, am I right? I'm ready to try this police boat method this night rubberbanding my controller, to see whether It's really glitched.

This is ridiculous. I got a platinum for GTA III DE and i wanted do the same thing for VC but this is just ridiculous. I think i will just complete the game then, same with San Andreas. No need to do 100%

On Xbox, 0.01% players have unlocked this achievement, Rockstar have recently put a patch out for gameplay improvements. I have just loaded on and got over a million, still no achievement.

I done the trophy doing cone crazy until getting 52m , don’t need to shoot the boat

CAN CONFIRM - you only need 100,000 rating NOT A MILLION, that as well as the cash you should be golden. 1 hour to grind cone crazy and an hour or so shooting the boat and my trophy popped.

I did everything but my rating or whatever isn't going up at all. What did I fuck up? Edit: Never mind, I'm an idiot. I was looking at media attention for some reason and not the thing that literally says Criminal Rating. I'm a college graduate. Appreciate the help mate.

I just got a patch for VC on PS5 and it seems that now 0.1% of players have the trophy. I think it's been patched.

This achievement is horrible. I was going to do the garage glitch but I can’t be bothered to do that. I’m currently doing this method right now and much better. Hopefully the achievement works on Xbox one. Update: I made it to godfather status and have 13m cash and didn’t get achievement. Appears to be broken on Xbox one as well.

So what is the current method, or requirements for the trophy? GTA VC Definitive Edition is on Patch 1.06 right now. How many money I need, and how many criminal record I need. To I get whatever is needed by playing the game, or do I need to do some of this stuff?

Think this is one of those achievements/trophy's that definitely required some crazy setups/strats with some intricate methods of getting the job done!🤯👍👏 Though I still remember your reaction from when you first did that Ambulance jump through the fence on stream😂

Anybody else's save file corrupted? Contact the Rockstar they gave me a bunch of ways to try and fix it but nothing's happening

this guide is fine but seems a bit excessive for me. just use the fire truck glitch at vercetti mansion and after an hour or two youll earn enough money to reach the ranking.

How do I shoot 102 bullets when that gun only has 60?

Honestly, this method is bad. 1. Unlock all islands 2. Collect all hidden packages until you receive the hunter 3. Do vigilante missions with the hunter until the achievement pops. *Alternate method* 1. Kill Ricardo Diaz 2. Grab a firetruck 3. Start sub mission 4. Drive in and out of Tommy's new mansion doors. This will complete each level because you are riving into an interior, therefore glitching the sub mission to complete.
