Very nice. Can also be done using a fan brush for smaller areas but for an area this large the bigger brush makes more sense.

I have tried to use the fan brush for grass and various other things like palm tree leaves and I can't get that fan brush to do what I need it to do. I'm a beginner so my hand/arm movements are shaky with the brush and I can't seem to apply the right pressure. 😕

Yes, watched some other ones and nothing as clear as this! Thank you!!!!I swear I've had a piece sitting for months and just could not do the fields, this was the absolute best tutorial! I love watching you paint Gary but I seen some Forrest and grass seen your comment about RU-vid tutorial, thank you soooooo helpful hopefully I can finish my mountain and field painting finally

This is an addendum to my comment 3 days ago. I used your technique on my painting. I only had an angled brush, but it worked. I then used a small fan brush for the detailed areas, and it worked beautifully! Thank you so much! I really appreciate you sharing your talent and tips! 🥰
