I still haven't tried the resto shaman, and if you had asked me, I'd say there are no easy healers atm, I'd even say healing feels unnecessarily hard, compared to how much easies other roles are.

I personally think Disc and Hpal are the most difficult to pull off well.

Holy priest has CRAZY damage and crazy burst heals. With the 4 set, you get basically unlimited & free serenity and sanctifys. Which put out crazy healing on their own, turn into HoTs with mastery, and apply renew to the entire group (which in turn bumps up healing taken). It would be the equivalent of a Druid being able to cast rejuvenation on the entire group with an instant cast, low CD ability, that will be free most of the time due to 4set. Prayer of Mending is also a nice smart heal that can ramp up like crazy. Add your wings which basically give you 40% increased HT and a targetable cheat death every 60s when talented, along with a self rez, HW Life, apotheosis, etc. And you have such a diverse toolkit. I get so much value in healing, that I’m able to take more dps talents In M+, one of which gives you 3 instant holy fire casts on a short CD, makes HF aoe, inc damage taken from nova/smite when HF dot is up, increases stacking dmg/healing of nova, and you can basically just set up your HoTs, dot a pack with 4 HFS, then just start tunneling novas, spot heal when needed, and 90% of the time in a 15 or higher I’m just barely under the lowest performing dps on the charts. Hpriest is a monster.

As a main for season 4 should i go for discipline or monk mw healer? Can't decide even one recommendation will help 😢

I used to be a mistweaver monk it was fun for a bit but I’m basic and like my simple holy priest rotation. I always end up back on a priest and I dislike disc so I’ve always been either holy or shadow and when they got a buff I was super happy to hear I swapped to my priest right away to level and gear it up

I miss times when only job I had as a healer in dungeons was healing and some utility 😅 all healers felt easy back then.

Healing steam totem is amazing. You can do that plus riptide and roll through a lot when you’re getting started.

I remember paladins and disc with those shields back in the days of WoD and such. So OP. Those were the days.

I went to 2755 as mistwaver monk. Doing only caster build. Now im into the 20s and above im starting to see its flaws now. But its the way i play monk and if it doesn't work in higher key then so bit but ill keep trying because i love thst plsy style. I always try and dps but i wish i could just sit in soothing mist all the time.

I'd flip most of this list. Shammy is hardest for me because it has the most to do, between having the best and shortest interrupt, 2.5 aoe cc's, many situational spells (ie.totems), light on personal defensives and a hard casted dps rotation to-boot. A bit of the healing is also positional/preemptive which can also be challenging to time right. I find Holy/Disc priest easiest, having almost no maintenance utility requirements, no interupt, 50% uptime on a 20% DR and the dps is easy to dish out. Resto druid/Hpal is easy to heal and too much work to do dps on. MW is just OP, average on difficulty. And prez is average but doesn't have any output atm. I typically heal on resto druid or disc priest. 3.2kio experience. All roles.

I can get along with most of your list! I'm wondering if Mistweaver should be ranked as hard, cause I feel like it's so easy to play. :) I started playing MW with 0 experience and got it from 0 to 3k score in like 8 or 9 days. :) I definitely recommend everyone who wants to try out a healer to play Mistweaver. :)

i gave up trying to find keybinds on shaman and my shaman is level 62, how is that easy? icyveins leveling build number of keybinds should be taken into account when deciding what is easy.

Playing Preservation Evoker on vulcanic and sanguine weeks can be very hard!

Hpal without cooldowns is rough.

My Main is a Bm\MM Hunter i think for the 1st time i played Holy pal and it was a cake walk might be my alt in S4

Resto sham damage is ez. Finished 78k using 5 DPS spells in a fall the other day with DH tank. Healed himself and I had DPS that actually kicked spells. Just blasting.

I heal on every spec and I mostly agree, but I wouldn't put RSham a whole 2 tiers above the rest. There are a lot of keybinds with RSham if you're to use their full kit in M+, there's a frequent interrupt, Cap Totem, Knockup and Earthbind/Earthgrab that's useful in Spiteful. There are also a couple of combos RSham can pull for extra damage and healing, think Master of the Elements, Tidal Waves, Ancestral Guidance etc.

Easiest to hardest for me Holy Priest ---> Holy Paladin ---------------> Disc Priest -------> Rdruid. You need to learn to trust the HoTs.Disc has DR tools and once you have atonements out and dps mobs, hp bars go up instantly

I am a rdruid main for dragonflight… It is freaking hard to combine healing with dps. You hot ppl and okey lez go to cat and dps a bit… fudge my hots running out after i just pressed one swipe… so you get the idea haha

Resto Shaman is by far the easiest. There is a guy in my friend's guild who is progging on Larodar and healing for 330k hps and his avg. chain heal cast heals for 660k and he can cast it about 45 times in a fight. I used to play RShaman back in the day and holy shit they're so much easier now. The riptide buffs and chain heal is super easy to use now and the healing rain is actually insane. His healing rain did 600k avg healing per cast as well. Just completely broken and easy to play compared to other healers. Resto Druid seems the most difficult due to the mana issues as well as the need for understanding when to ramp and praying a RShaman doesn't just snipe your hots into over healing range with one chain heal.

I don't know, mate, I don't find holy paladin that hard. But when talking strictly about damage, my holy paly does absolutely abysmal damage compared to my holy priest and resto shaman. Priest actually does really good damage. You mentioned casting heal and flash heal a lot, I barely touch them, it's all serenity and sanctify usually. Still, fun wise, holy paladin and holy priest are great in my opinion, I actually enjoy them more than resto shaman.

IMHO! Shami is easy but also complicated (a lot of utility and cooldowns to prioritize and manage) if you are going to be successful in raids and higher keys you might want to try another healer that doesn't have 3 hot bars of buttons.

Imo holy priest is pretty easy. Nothing insane about it aside from theoretically pure throughout. Imo they need to add a 3%dr to targets with renew on them and suddenly it’ll be very good.

Holy Paladin has indeed gotten a bit more complicated this season/tier. You have a lot more things to juggle, combos, and need a lot of knowledge of damage profiles to do it well.

I agree almost with everything but Druid. I don't find it that difficult tbh and have the same fun as with resto shaman. Druid is average imho. Way easier than discipline or monk!

Looking this I’m not sure this is 10.2.5 specific at all, and it seems to get at least a few things not correct. Rsham is easy but not that easy - if you add using at least some utility it provides, it becomes at least medium hard to play spec. Holy Priest on the other hand, this season specifically, is super easy, you don’t wave heal flash heal anymore, you have so many serenities that you can outheal a lot super fast as its all instant cast. I would place this season holy priest easiest tier for sure. Hpal is not the hardest, it’s just a bit overnerfed so you gotta sweat a bit more - but it has quite fluid and decent rotation. Doesn’t seem like you played much healers this season😉

Resto is low stress, and that’s the sort of healer I want to play when pugging. It’s reliable, and has a solid utility set to help out with just about every affix.

Holy Paladin isn't hard to play it's just that the heals are sort of nerfed.

Think it is really different for each person, I find HPAL so much easier than MW

getting ppl to heal at the moment is hard , they get hit hard they need to kick the need to dispell a lot they need to full heal a lot , i dont know i think they all need to get more easy

holy is way easier than shaman bc shaman you need to riptide everyone constantly to make sure ur chain heals etc are actually healing good. holy is just spamming flash heal onto dps u NEVER heal urself bc of binding heal+ u stack vers and 10% dr from flash healing others ur incredibly tanky plus 5% leech talent makes u heal even more+ flash heal cleave talent. you just whackamole the dps with flash heal and serenity if they go below 50% health for the 20% heal buff talent

This is totally focus for meta players I think for average players it's quite the opposite. Dud and pally very easy. I mean You don't have to play them 100% to keep You team alive

Healers are the most opinionated players in the game and to say I disagree with you, just identifies me as a healer. Not to offend, but some of your comments cause me to question whether you've actually invested in the classes you've played (class discords, etc.), or you just read the tool tips and wing it. I main Holy Priest and I play Holy Paladin. Even after the rework, Discipline is still the hardest class to play, full stop. I've also played Mistweaver, Resto Shaman, and Resto Druid as alts so we can agree to disagree, but if you think Holy Paladin is the hardest, you're doing something wrong.

As a long time healer, I always advise people to start with resto shaman if they're nervous about healing. Their healing is simple & even if you screw up, resto shaman has multiple "oh shit" buttons. Plus they're actually fun to play even though they're so straightforward.

Holy paladin is hard because the playstyle makes no sense. HP spenders don't move bars, our dps is crap and there is button bloat

Awesomes, I have to say, I healed in PVE and actually fell asleep, woke up about 15 minutes later after 2 bosses and i wasn't even missed. Healing in WoW is just something to keep stoopud people alive... I would call to call for a social darwin experiment to see if this "healing saves dumb people from themselves" is true.
