Today's video is a detailed Easiest Protective style Tutorial where I will be showing you how to achieve the Jumbo Box Braids On 4C Natural Hair using the Rubber band method. This method is perfect for those of us that struggle with gripping the root of our box braids braids and literally also very quick as it took me under 3 hours (2 hour 30 minutes) to achieve. You can also never go wrong with a protective style this season, hence, this hairstyle and of course this hairstyle would rock really nice too during this upcoming spring/summer. These jumbo box braids are literally sooo convenient and its also not heavy. I forgot to mention that if your natural hair is a lot thicker than mine, it will be great to split your natural hair into three across the three ends of the braiding hair in order to avoid bulkiness... Moisturizing is key! I have family and friends that get beautiful braids and then keep them in way too long and the hair gets dry like "flour", over time it affects your roots and scalp. Always have a bottle with the pointy tip and keep the scalp oiled!

@@bleurose1502 I understand😊. I kept them in about a month. I twisted my roots after about 2 weeks to refresh them. I thought I hand 4 c but I have discovered during my hair journey that I may be between 3b to 4a. I have installed them twice. During the first I was transitioning. The 2nd time I had done the big chop, difficult to keep my hair neat in the braid. I took it down n about 3 weeks.

@@bleurose1502 yes, I do have 4c hair. I actually just did this style again today, but this time I was washed and blow dried my hair beforehand. I used extreme hold beeswax edge control for my edges (I used style factor last time and it left alot of white residue) and shine n jam to braid the hair. I love the way it came out more the second time around.

I'm slowing coming to the realization that I will have to attempt doing my hair all by myself due to the quarantine and I cannot braid but have left over braiding hair....so I will study this video like homework and prep myself for taking out my current braids and redoing larger box braids so my arms dont fall off

@@bleurose1502 Yes I do. The style last pretty long I honestly think because this video alone my hair braiding skills have gotten better. I could always do cornrows but I was never able to do weave. I've been the type to leave a certain style in for a long period of time anyway but dealing with 4c hair this method is VERY helpful

I tried this method this weekend and it came out so good. I did add a little more braids for fullness since I know I mess up some of the parts in the back. I love it and will definitely trying some more styles in the future. Thank you so much

Omg, 2I just watched the Knotless video, and now this. I never realized that you could do that with the rubber bands. I see 2 hairstyles for this summer, because I want to do more protective styles. I love your channel

Can you do a video on how to generally part your hair for box braids or crochet. I find it very difficult to have straight parts and spend hours trying to make it perfect.

Hey I am loving your videos I recently talked to myself back into braiding my own hair with these horrendous prices that some people are charging and just the whole codependency idea that I cannot get into I love your videos I also use rubber band method and I want to thank you for all of the tips and I will be oil in my rubber bands from here on out
