Sadly, no free stock asset in this tutorial guys. The last time I did it, my designs kept getting stolen. It's literally a 1:1 copy of them flooding on Instagram claiming it's their own design. It's sickening. I'm giving out free knowledge that can help you generate income, the least you can do is not ripping me off. Especially to some of my Indian, Indonesian & Brazillian subscribers, please do better. Thanks for watching and much ❤
This is sad to read man. You're doing great and as an AD & Graphic designer it helps me a lot to find new perspectives and way to create cool designs !
thank you for the tutorial, I think this technique can be a method of making designs, I really like using the threshold effect because it's easy to apply to various images
Q.1 - I do my designs in Photoshop and I'm new at this. They suggest that we use CMYK instead of RGB when designing, because the colors may vary in printing. Should I do this? I don't want the colors to change in printing, I want the colors I use in the design to be the same as possible on the t-shirt and to be of good quality, can you tell me what to do? Q.2 What size should I use during the design so that my design will be printed in the highest quality? (such as A3, A4, Poster)
1) If your print shop tells you to design in CMYK, then do that. I design in sRGB because my manufacturer's printer allows that. 2) This depends on you, the most common size is A3 but if you have the budget for it then go for A2. That's more than enough already.
Hello, not trying to be that person or anything of that nature but I wanted to ask if you had a tutorial on how we can create a tshirt mock up with the effects & settings, like how you have your .psd file setup used in this video. Respectfully asking of curious. I don't see videos on creating the tshirt mockup template like how you have yours set up, again not trying to take anything away just wanted to reach out and ask. Thanks for your time.
I did make a mockup tutorial before ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-inwBkDaa5zI.html but not like this one. I went the extra mile to refine everything to achieve the realistic look.
i really like how you set up your mock up, and although i could do the same with any shirt using the old dispalce trick. i wanna know how yours works. So if you could make a paid mock up template , just add shirt here or something , it would be nice.
hi Dixon, Great video as always 💪🏾💯 a question tho; I’d really appreciate if you could educate me a bit on which printing method you think is best(quality) and maybe the cheapest for us designers, that’d want to get into tshirt(merch) printing like you. Thanks :-)
I think DTG has better printing than screenprinting. The cheapest would be DTF but the quality is very bad imo. Another alternative is try Print on Demand services like Printful or Printify.
Hey man!! Love the content been such a big help recently. I’m busy looking for best website/supplier to get the Heavyweight T shirts from - what do you recommend?
you're gonna have to do your own research on that because I don't know what kind of fit you like. I almost always answer rue porter but they also run out of stock and shipping is too fkn slow.
As long as you get the images from free stock sites that allow commercial use, you’re fine. Go to sites like Unsplash or Pexels for free stocks. NEVER USE GOOGLE OR PINTEREST
the thing with color range select from the end of the video works if we want to save the file and send it to the printing service ? or how cand we do it if we have a black based design. Thanks
i love this design, but i have one big issue: i have zero clue how to export this without the black background. merging ruins the outer glow effect, and it keeps the solid colour layers behind the image either way. i may be dumb, but i can't figure out how to merge everything while keeping it the same
@@IntuitiveDesignswow i can’t believe i missed that- thank you for replying though. i did watch it all the way through but somehow completely missed that
Hi, Dixon! That was really dope, thank you! Could you please heIp, I have a lil problem, the inner glow on my main picture (as the robot in your case) under those solid colors just doesn’t come out, what it could be?
for logos you'd have to create yourself or hire someone to do it. for free stock images, go to sites like Unsplash, Pixabay, or Pexels. NEVER USE GOOGLE.
If that's the case, then just turn off the black background before you merge all the selected layers into one. I've made a video about saving files for printing, you can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MFgO9ieUF9E.html
I'd suggest FUEL if you want cheaper prices. Printful if you don't care about customization, just all print and business. It's a very competitive market honestly, you couldn't go wrong with any of the famous ones.
