If you've ever had a hard time applying false lashes, then you're at the right place! This video teaches you how to apply strip lashes as well as individual lashes and gives some tips to make the application a little easier. I even show you my favorite glue to use!

I'll break down the steps into a list :)
1 - eyeliner (this is just make the seam of the lashes blend into your natural lashes better, so DON'T SKIP THIS STEP)
2 - curl your lashes if you desire or if they need it. I would only skip this step if you have naturally really curly lashes.
3 - Mascara
4 - bend your strip lashes to loosen them up (for individuals you'd obviously skip this step)
5 - squeeze some glue onto a palette or the packaging the lashes came in and dip your q-tip to get the glue onto the q-tip (can skip this step for individuals also)
6 - apply the glue from the q-tip onto the lash (or dip your individual lashes into the glue on the palette or packaging)
7 - wait 20-30 second so the glue can get tacky
8 - for individuals - just plop them into place and pitch... not much to that
for strips - place the center down on the highest point of your eye and once you get it in desired position, first pinch the outer most corner, then the inner most corner. you may have to play around to get in close to your natural lashes, but you'll get it with practice! :) just keep pinching (or you can use the back of your eyeshadow brush to push on the lashes to get the to stay).
9 - re-curl your lashes to bring them all together
10 - re-apply some mascara to make them look more uniform (but if they look fine this is not necessary)

I've watched a lot of "applying false lashes" videos today as I've never been successful. Yours was by the way the best. Your directions were clear, you gave reasons as to why you were doing it that way, your eyes looked beautiful without being overdone, something I wouldn't want and never could get away with. And in addition to that, your voice is steady and calm because you know what you're doing. That gives confidence and a calming effect. The music in the background sets a rhythm that is a nice unrushed tempo and is delightful. Your finished product is professional, natural, and is as lovely as you sound. I picked up some good tips and this is the first individual lash mention I have seen. Keep up the terrific presentations.

I have tried more than a few times to apply fake lashes and I always ended up feeling like some of it was poking my eyes and then the ends would end up coming off making me look like I had no idea what I did to myself, which I didn't. They felt weird but I think that might because you can feel them but not as bad as I did. Thank you so much for sharing step-by-step how to put fake eye lashes on. I have always been told I need to get the lashes on before the glue dries up. This makes sense and I will have to try it to compare the difference from the hard way to this way. Love the music, I felt it was calming to me! But different opinions and different taste. Thank you again!

Hey there! I've been obsessed with learning how to do my own fake lashes. Seemed super easy (and after your tutorial, it still seems that way! I just barely got into false eyelashes due to short lashes I had to go buy a few things ie eye lash curler and glue they happened to be out of the one you had and I saw this one that was like a liquid eyeliner brush kinda cool I though but I had more trouble trying to get the strands on with that the the original tube of glue that came with it any way you could make a tutorial to see if the brush is easier then the tube other then that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!! thinking of individual lashes now!!

I just started applying lashes and I do both ways with tweezers and just my fingers and for me doing it with my fingers is easier...its just ur preference I think u did a very good job dont worry about the negative comments!

When you remove them if you use a whole length lash ( not the little sections ) do you need to remove the mascara from the false lashes with a makeup remover before you store them to use again. I know some women will use theirs about 3 times before buying new ones to use. What's your take on that as well?

Idk if this has been said already, didn't read through them all but using tweezers are a little easier and gives a cleaner application especially when bonding the falsie and natural lash together. Sometimes with your fingers the glue gets on your finger and pulls the lash up and u have to reapply glue and all that but NICE TUTORIAL☺️

oh good, I just went to Ulta and bought some eyelashes and Duo glue. I'm glad I watched this. I'm over here squinting and trying to close my eye the first time I tried to put on eyeliner, I didn't even think about pulling and holding the side of my eye to help xD NOW my second question is, are these eyelashes are reusable? and HOW WILL I GET THEM OFF?! lol. I have always admired the look of false lashes never thought of singles, but you make it look so easy. You are alovely looking lass any way but the false lashes do make a difference not much on you thought as your lashez look fine to me. Gel liner is MUCH easier to work with than liquid. i still think liquid liner is a bit tricky to get right too! i think i used my sephora coal liner, but i'm not 100% sure. I think i have a list of the products used in the description. i know i do in my recent videos, but i'm not sure about my older ones.

Do you clean your lashes? Cause after awhile my lashes get ugly with the mascara. AND while im taking off the glue i sometimes pull out a lash lol.

I wear the individuals "flares" everyday! I use tweezers to apply them and it's easier for me than placing them with my fingers. I use Lashgrip glue and the flares stay on for several days!
