@@andrewvillanueva4222 bruh that's not the only way. You can hook from inside the mouth and out the nose so it can still open its mouth and breathe unlike what you recommended. So don't say he must do it that way
Yk if they’re under sized and you pull them up with a net it cuts their tail fin which doesn’t grow back and makes it that much harder for them to survive?
@@matthewseverson2655 thanks I will try that .. I used to go there a lot with my friends and we can't never catch anything lol .. I'm going again and tried that bait hopefully I get lucky this time
Keep up the great content. Not sure if this helps, but next time you fish live bait, bring an extra bucket and dip net. If you change the water every half hour or hour your chovies will survive longer and remain spunky. Too much ammonia builds in the water and becomes toxic for them. Cheers
It does help! I learned pretty quick only having one bucket doesn't allow you to get new water. I brought a second one with this week and was able to keep them alive a few hours longer. It also helped cut down on all the darn foam! Thanks for watching!
Nice video. FYI. Halibut will have better chance of survival after release if you don't grab them with your hands. Also, I'd recommend lowering them back into the water with net instead of tossing back.
Love your stuff bro I just started watching you love that beat receiver too but just a little tip for everybody out there after a few trips to that receiver we realized getting one scoop instead of two is better you’ll still have enough bait to fish with all day but they’ll be livelier and more will stay alive we used to run to scoops and a 15 gallon ice chest and had for bubble laters going with anti-nitrate juiceSo in this case a little goes a long way
Try top of the eyes or Gil hook them they stay alive a lot longer on the hook if ur gonna use a small perch or a herring belly hook them that will keep them alive for a very long time 2 and halibut love the movement and change the water in the bucket more often
Nice catch! That looked like a 22 incher to me. Game wardens tell me you can measure from nose to tip of the fin. If you had measured that way, you would have had him at 22 on the nose.
I use the same as what I right with berkleygulp. 3/0 baitholder j offset hook. I'm not sure this is correct. I would probably recommend something smaller. I'm just lazy and like to use one type of rig for a few things
I don't like using Carolina rigs due to the crabs. They seem to be able to get the anchovies pretty easy when u don't force them off the ground like the high/low. A lot of guys use a Carolina rig with a float attached for the same effect.
Where’s this spot in SF I’m in vacation in Sf and I try to find cpl spots for fishing 🎣 can u tell me exactly where this pier? Thanks . Nice video hope meet u guys there gdluck
. WWWHHHHAAAATTT?!??!? That's awesome, bro!!! I lived right in downtown oakland til 2 months ago. Im actually from the Sierra nevada mountains. I came to oakland for a job 3 yrs ago, met a girl, and the rest is history...lol. Would you ever wanna get together and teach this goofball how to fish in the ocean? Btw, im not a weirdo or anything, im actually an engineer for a hospital, so maybe we could swap knowledge/know how. Lemme know brother. And we'll figure out how to link up.
Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you know the end to the right was where the fish was.
