Tbh looking back on this, I agree. I've gotten much better now; still not perfect though. I can definitely say that this a pretty good introductory method at the very least.
Dude, this is... There's so many 3 hour long videos out there of people explaining how to do this using super complicated terminology that I'm just supposed to understand offhand. Like, this is so great. Such a great way of teaching it.

A RU-vidr called Finn needs to learn with you! Very good one dude. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What the actual fuck?! This is amazing. I just saw Natt and other guys doing girl voices and I'm flabbergasted. I'm trying to mimic it but there's like no way. Do you have to be able to sing to do this?
Thanks for this it helps a lot too may want to try talking consistently in my girl voice for Halloween since I'm dressing up as female Japanese school girl outfit
Amazing! Well done. From the thumbnail, I thought this is trans woman teaching guys who want to transition, how to do a woman's voice. Then I watched the video, and I see a guy doing a fairly good woman's voice!
not that hard to do a guys voice as a girl actually, just takes practice. you have to basically drop your tongue at the back and open your throat. I know that sounded awful, but there are a lot of videos to show you how, just not easy to explain 😂
@@catpunk4194 not really, men have deeper/larger throats so men can perfectly imitate females _(smaller)_ but females can never get to male ranges due to biological restrictions. They can get close, but never pass to a trained ear. Adding testosterone makes it even closer, but never 100% again due to physiology.
It's hard for me to raise my adam apple, how could you do that? I'm tried that like you said, but it's make me can't breath. Sorry for my broken english
@@disastainternet3469 Do you know how the false vocal folds work? You do want to shrink your throat but that involves R1 muscles in the throat, not that's separate. It's hard for beginners to control R1 without over doing it like choking as you said. *R1 is important, but nothing's more important than retraction of the vocal folds.* You need to watch some videos from TransVoiceLessons to fully understand this muscle, it helped me out immensely. Make the "h" sound like in "hot" and if you can do it silently while breathing out the same amount of air, you're retracting. You practice to keep the muscle there, you can literally feel it retract. Or try gasping, then try gasping without making sound. You should feel something open up in your throat doing it silently. When we raise pitch, the false folds want to constrict, which is bad. This is hwy this is so important. Focusing on this makes every single other process easier. False vocal fold retraction is what makes voices sound more softer and brighter. Just doing this and nothing else to your voice will make you sound more feminine than raising pitch or doing anything else alone. If you keep your pitch the same doing this _(retraction)_ you will literally sound like a girl imitating a guy voice, which is good. These videos never mention this, and often accidentally teach you the opposite.
@@AcolyteOfLucifer i'm clearly understand what you talkin about, i just dunno how to answer. because my english is really bad. but thanks for the suggestion, i will try it. and i will check out TransVoiceLessons too if i need more suggestion. actually i'm not trying to be drag queen or something like that. i'm just interested with voice acting (i'm sorry if it's offensive for someone) but thank you bro, i appreciate that. your comment help me a lot.
The easiest way to do it is to swallow. You'll feel your throat shoot up. All you need to do is hold in place after that. With some practice, you can consistently do it.
I need to practise and i have no experience with doing voices besides a deep corpse like voice. so should i learn mickey mouses voice then the female voice or can i skip that. also how am i suppose to practise this each day.
When I perform the voice, I normally don't use the head voice. I feel it entirely within my throat. I'd say the biggest disadvantage for using the MM voice is that it can be difficult to speak louder than a conversational volume. Experiment around! It's what worked for me, but it may not work for everyone! ❤
Swallowing is a great way to shoot it up. You can do it without that, but be sure to not strain yourself. Put your hand on your throat and swallow, you'll feel it shoot up; but doing that alone won't get you the voice. It does help though. I would strain my throat a lot, and it DIDN'T help. You'll start pretty bad at first, but give it time, practice, and lots of recordings. As you hear recordings that sound better and better, you'll start to pickup on how you achieved that voice and keep trying to replicate that. Once you can replicate a voice that you like, you can then start adding emotion, pitches, etc to it!
In my opinion, it's needed as a foundation to achieve a feminine voice! When you hit the mickey mouse voice, you're able to shift your pitch/tone in a way that sounds feminine and you can work from there.
Yes! I'm having a hard time deciding on what topics I should cover. I think I'll begin filming again next week, but I'm not sure exactly what. Politics, games, more tutorials, hmm 🤔
I began practicing back in June or July. I was attempting it in all the wrong ways, but I eventually learned this method in August and began perfecting it from there.
@@HunneyChan To consistently be able to hit a passing girl voice took me roughly 2-3 months. This includes the time where I was completely doing it wrong at first and the time I learned how to do it properly and practice.
Took me a hot minute, but the final video is out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F9ouK2fBPIM.html I respond to comments on both videos and go over a method to learning to the Mickey Mouse voice!
