So many of you asked if it is possible to grow kangkong / water spinach from cuttings. Yes you can!

That's exactly the way I grow kangkong: use cutting from store-bought product. You need to keep the soil moist, otherwise the stems will become tough to eat.

It will have to be put into water or soil for the roots to establish itself and plant to grow. Hope i understood you correctly :)

Yes you can because kangkong is after all a water plant. However there are lowland varieties available and i also think water propagation is doable :)
