Hello sunshine! I'm new to your channel and will be back. I design my own crochet garments but recently started sewing a lot of dresses. I'm in awe of the skill that so many of you ladies have in dressmaking without a pattern. Here in the US most of us are dependent on patterns. I can see already with this one video that I am going to learn a lot from you! My husband is from Lagos. Are you in Nigeria? You gather using the circumference of the upper part of your gown, the reason you are not using your waist measurement is because of the zip allowance at the back
I just decided to ask you, I am making a dress that is cris crossed in front kind of a wrap around for the top with spaghetti straps. I am on it now but it is not coming up well.
